JELET 2022: Counselling (Started), Choice Filling, Seat Allotment, Seat Matrix, Cut off

JELET 2022 Counselling registration has been started at wbjeeb.nic.in. The last date to register for counselling is July 16, 2022. JELET 2022 choice filling and locking will be commenced from July 15 to July 16, 2022. The seat allotment for round 1 will be declared on July 20, 2022. The candidates who have been allotted seats in the first round will have to accept the seat by paying the seat acceptance fee from July 20 to July 24, 2022. 

Only the candidates who will clear the test will be eligible for the counselling process. An email about the counselling schedule will be sent to the eligible candidates. The authority will conduct the counselling and seat allotment on the basis of JELET 2022 Rank. Therefore, candidates should appear for counselling on the given date and time with the required documents. 

JELET 2022 Counselling Process

WBJEE JELET 2022 counselling session will commence from July 12 2022. Aspirants who secure a rank in the exam can register online on the official website.

Aspirants need to carry the listed below original documents along with their self-attested copies:

  1. Downloaded JELET 2022 Counselling registration form
  2. Downloaded JELET 2022 rank card
  3. Two copies of recent passport size colour photographs
  4. Downloaded JELET 2022 Admit Card
  5. Caste certificate in Original issued by competent authority
  6. Domicile certificate issue by competent authority
  7. PwD certificate in original

The listed below testimonials will be required in original for verification of eligibility and other criteria:

Diploma Holders(including Pharmacy)

  • Semester wise/part-wise/year-wise mark sheets of Diploma in Engineering/Tech/Pharmacy.
  • Mark-sheet of HS or equivalent examination(for admission to Jadavpur University)
  • Original/downloaded admit card, certificate of Madhyamik or equivalent examination or Birth certificate from competent authority for verification of age.

B.Sc degree Holders:

  • Original mark sheet of BSc examination along with Photocopy
  • Original mark sheet of HS or equivalent examination(10+2)
  • Original/downloaded admit card, certificate of Madhyamik or equivalent examination or Birth certificate from competent authority for verification of age.

How to Check JELET 2022 Result?

Candidates are advised to read the steps carefully below for checking and downloading of JELET results 2022:

  2. Click on JELET 
  3. Important notifications are mentioned on the page.
  4. Click on “JELET Result 2022”
  5. A pdf file will be displayed with the names of the short listed candidates with their ranks.
  6. Save the file and download a copy for further use.

JELET 2022 Merit List

The Merit Lists of all candidates who have successfully cleared JELET 2022 will be displayed on the official website of WBJEE. Candidates have to log in with their registered User-id and password to know the merit list.

WBJEE will publish 5 different merit list based on the total scored achieved by a candidate in the entrance test.

  • Merit rank of diploma holders in engineering and technology
  • Merit rank of diploma holders in printing technology
  • Merit rank of diploma holders in agricultural engineering
  • Merit rank of diploma holders in pharmacy

In case of similar marks, tie breaking methodology is applied for determining ranks. For different courses, the tie breaking methodology is as follows:

For Diploma holders in Engineering & Technology (excluding Printing Technology and Agricultural Engineering)

  • Less negative marks in total
  • More positive marks in combining the marks of Engineering Mechanics and Strength of Materials
  • Less negative marks in combining the marks of Engineering Mechanics and Strength of Materials
  • More positive marks in combining the marks of 4 subjects: Engineering Mathematics, Electrical Technology, Computer Application and Environmental Engineering
  • Less negative marks in combining the marks of 4 subjects: Engineering Mathematics, Electrical Technology, Computer Application and Environmental Engineering

For Diploma holders in Printing Technology

  • Less negative marks in total
  • More positive marks in combining the marks of Basic Printing Engineering and Printers’ Materials Science
  • Less negative marks in combining the marks of Basic Printing Engineering and Printers’ Materials Science
  • More positive marks in combining the marks of 4 subjects: Engineering Mathematics, Electrical Technology, Computer Application and Environmental Engineering
  • Less negative marks in combining the marks of 4 subjects:  Engineering Mathematics, Electrical Technology, Computer Application and Environmental Engineering

For Diploma holders in Agricultural Engineering

  • Less negative marks in total
  • More positive marks in combining the marks of Soil & Water, Farm Machinery and Power and Food Processes and Food Harvest Engineering
  • Less negative marks in combining the marks of Soil & Water, Farm Machinery and Power and Food Processes and Food Harvest Engineering
  • More positive marks in combining the marks of 4 subjects: Engineering Mathematics, Electrical Technology, Computer Application and Environmental Engineering
  • Less negative marks in combining the marks of 4 subjects: Engineering Mathematics, Electrical Technology, Computer Application and Environmental Engineering taken together

For B. Sc. candidates: Less negative marks in total

For Diploma holders in pharmacy: Less negative marks in total

  • Even after this methodology, the tie exists, date of birth is considered as the deciding factor. The candidate who is older will be given preference over the younger one.
