JNU CEEB Score Card 2022 (Out), Answer Key, Merit List, Cutoff, and Counselling

JNU CEEB Scorecard 2022 has been released on May 26, 2022, in online mode. The scorecard can be obtained from the official website i.e. https://dbt.nta.ac.in/. Candidates need to enter their application number and date of birth in order to download the scorecard

  • The cut-off marks will be determined after the declaration of the result.
  • A merit list will be prepared on the basis of the rank secured by the examinee.
  • The counseling for JNU CEEB will commence post declaration of merit list.
  • JNU will send intimation to the candidates about their allotment to the university of their choice.
  • The selected candidate has to complete the admission process i.e. document verification and submission of fees to the university.

How to Check JNU CEEB 2022 Result?

The result for JNU CEEB 2022 will be declared on May 26, 2022. Examinees should follow the following steps to get their results:

  • Keep the application number or registration number in place.
  • Visit the official JNU website - dbt.nta.ac.in
  • Click on the link “JNU CEEB 2022 Result”.
  • A new page will appear where candidates can select whether they want to check the result using the application number/ registration number.
  • Candidate will now be redirected to a new webpage where their score cards will be displayed.
  • Candidates must keep a tab of their results and also take a printout of the same for future reference.

Details on JNU CEEB 2022 Scorecard

JNU CEEB scorecard will consist of the details on how the candidates has flared in the exam. The rank given on the scorecard will determine the candidate’s place in the merit list. The following details will be enlisted on the scorecard:

  • Candidate’s name
  • Application number
  • Course name
  • Marks secured
  • Rank obtained

JNU CEEB 2022 Cut Off

Although there is no official cut off marks announced for JNU CEEB but the candidates must keep the following things in mind.

  • Jawaharlal Nehru University announces just the marks of the participants.
  • The marks received by the candidates determines their rank.
  • JNU CEEB rank is used to determine the merit list for counselling.
  • The rank differs according to the candidate’s category (Gen/ SC/ ST/ Kashmir Migrants).

JNU CEEB 2022 Merit List

Merit list for JNU CEEB 2022 will be declared by NTA on its official website. Post declaration of JNU CEEB 2022 results, the merit list will be prepared on the basis of the rank of all the participants. The merit list is a deciding factor for the admission process to the various PG biotechnology related courses at Jawaharlal Nehru University and participating universities. Candidates must regularly keep a check on the official website of Jawaharlal Nehru University for the declaration of result.

Merit list for JNU CEEB 2022 will comprise the following information

  • Candidate’s JNU CEEB 2022 rank
  • Application number
  • Name of the candidate
  • Category wise marks secured

Note: JNU will release only one merit list for JNU CEEB 2022 and candidates must note that there will be no further merit lists for any course.


JNU CEEB 2022 Counselling

The selection will depend solely on the basis of the merit list and aspirant’s preferences/choices. If in case any candidate has not mentioned his or her choice for joining a particular university, his or her name will not be considered for that University. Candidates can make their choice in accordance with the number of seats available, their rank and the course they have opted to apply for.

The Selection and counselling procedure will be as follows:

  • After the merit list is prepared, more than double the number of candidates than the total number of seats available will be informed of their merit rank in the entrance examination.
  • They will also be informed about the total number of seats in each participating University.
  • The shortlisted candidates will be asked to mention their choices for joining their preferred universities and pay a security deposit to lock in their choices.
  • After the allotment of seats, NTA will send intimation to the candidates about their allotment to the university of their choice.
  • Candidates must note that once the allotment is made, then the other choices will stand nullified.
  • The allotted university will then inform the candidate about the complete admission procedure, schedule as well as the amount of fee etc. to be deposited.
  • The initial security deposit already sent by the candidate through demand draft to NTA will be sent to the concerned university for refund after the first semester.
  • Selected candidate then has to complete the admission process i.e. document verification process and submission of fees to the university.  

Note: Candidates must also note that once a seat has been locked in any university, he or she can’t change it or opt for another university at any circumstance. If the candidate did not join the university even after locking the seat, his/ her security deposit will stand forfeited and will not be refunded.
