KEAM Results 2023 is tentatively going to be declared in the last week of May 2023. KEAM Rank List 2023 will also be declared by The Commissioner of Entrance Examination, Kerala. Candidates can check the rank list for the exam on the official website- cee.kerala.gov.in.

Last year, out of the total 77005 candidates that appeared in the exam, a total of 58570 candidates have appeared in the examination. Vishwanath Vinod has secured first rank in the engineering exam with a score of 596.8071.

  •  KEAM Rank List 2023 is prepared by giving equal weightage to the marks obtained in the Paper 1 and Paper 2 put together, and the marks obtained for Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry/Computer Science/Biology/Biotechnology put together in the final year of the qualifying examination.

How to Check KEAM Result 2023?

Candidates can check their KEAM Result 2023 by following the steps mentioned below:

  • Step 1: Visit the official portal of KEAM i.e., www.cee.kerala.gov.in.
  • Step 2: Click on ‘KEAM 2023 Candidate Portal’ link.
  • Step 3: Enter the required credentials namely Application No., Password and Security Code.
  • Step 4: Click on ‘KEAM Result 2023’ link.
  • Step 5: KEAM 2023 Result will be displayed on screen

KEAM Rank List

KEAM Rank List 2023

KEAM Rank List will comprise of candidates with ranks higher than the cut off ranks set by the Commissioner of Entrance Examinations.

  • KEAM Rank List 2023 is prepared by taking together the marks scored by the candidate in KEAM 2023 and the aggregate of marks scored by him in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics in the 10+2 examination.
  • Before releasing KEAM Rank List 2023, the examination authorities will open a link which will allow candidates to submit marks obtained in 12th examination.
  • KEAM Result 2023 and marks obtained by the candidate in 12th will be given equal weightage

KEAM 2023 Tie-breaking Criteria

In case of a tie between the scores of two or more candidates following criteria will be applied to select the candidate:

  1. The candidates with higher marks in Mathematics in KEAM 2023 will be given preference.
  2. If the tie persists, candidates who score more in Physics will be given preference.
  3. If still there is a tie, then candidates with higher standardized marks in Mathematics of the 12th standard will be ranked higher.
  4. If still there is a tie, then higher standardized marks in Physics during 12th standard examinations will be considered.
  5. When none of the above options work, then age will be used to break the tie. Candidates who are older in age will be ranked higher.

KEAM 2023 Category List 

CEE will publish a provisional category list for Community Reservation, Special Reservation, Person with Disabilities, etc on the basis of rank list. Also, a separate list will be published for all the programs. Candidates need to verify and satisfy themselves regarding the date provided on the category list. In case of any complaint, they can submit their objections to the conducting authority within the specified period. After considering the complaints, a revised category list will be published. It will be the final list and no further correspondences in this regard will be accepted.

KEAM 2023 Qualifying Marks

  • Candidates must secure at least 10 marks in each paper – Paper 1 (Physics & Chemistry) and Paper 2 (Mathematics) to make it to KEAM 2023 Rank List
  • Failing to meet the prescribed minimum marks, their names will not be included in the rank list, and by extension no longer be considered for KEAM 2023 seat allotment.
  • There are no minimum marks for candidates belonging to SC/ST categories. However, they will have to answer at least one question in each paper, or else they will be disqualified.

Rank List of Architecture

  • Provisional rank list for B.Arch will be published on CEE Official Website.
  • Preparation of the rank list for admission to B.Arch. wil equal weightage for NATA marks and qualifying exam marks.
  • Marks obtained in NATA out of 200 will be added to the total marks and grades secured in the qualifying exam computed out of 200. Hence, the rank list will be prepared based on the total marks obtained out of 400.

KEAM Cutoff

KEAM Cutoff 2023

KEAM Cutoff 2023 will be dependent on factors like the overall performance of the candidates in the exam, previous year cut-offs, difficulty level of the test, availability of seats etc. Check KEAM 2021 Cut Off

  • KEAM 2023 cut off will be announced by CEE, Kerala after the release of the result.
  • Candidates who score marks more than or equal to the set cut off will qualify for the merit list.
  • KEAM qualifiers will be then called for the counselling sessions for seat allotment in various courses and colleges.
  • A separate cut off of KEAM will be released after each round of counselling.
  • Cut-offs will consist of opening and closing ranks of all the participating institutes, branches and categories.

KEAM Counselling 2023

  • KEAM Counselling 2023 will commence after the declaration of the merit list.
  • KEAM 2023 rank list will be released on the official website. 
  • The procedure of the allotment of the seats is determined by the Central Allotment Process or CAP. 
  • Qualifying candidates have to register for the counselling session.
  • The choice course and college of the candidate will be asked during the registration for counselling.
  • Verification of the documents will be done during the counselling session. Candidates will be allotted seats on merit cum preference basis.

Ques. What is the tie-breaking criteria for KEAM 2023?

Ans. In case of a tie in KEAM 2023, the following tie-breaking criteria shall be considered:

  • Higher marks in mathematics in the entrance examination.
  • Higher marks in Physics in the Physics and Chemistry paper.
  • Higher marks in mathematics in the final year of Qualifying examination.
  • Higher marks in physics in the final year of Qualifying examination.
  • The age of the candidate will be considered, the elder candidate shall be taken into account.

Ques. What is the qualifying cut off for KEAM 2023?

Ques. How is KEAM 2023 Merit List prepared?

Ans. KEAM Merit list will consist of the ranks higher than the cut off ranks set by CEE. This rank list will be the list prepared by taking together the marks scored by the candidate on the exam and the aggregate of marks scored by him in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics in +2 examination. Both the scores will have equal weightage in the preparation of the rank list.
