Merit list and Tie Break Criteria for KLEU AIET 2022
KLE University prepares a merit list of students on the basis of their total score (out of 200) in KLEU AIET. On the basis of ranks of candidates in the merit list so prepared, candidates are shortlisted and called for counselling and admission process.
In case two students have the same score in KLEU AIET 2022, the tie will be resolved by giving preference in the following order:
- Candidate with higher marks in Biology in KLEU AIET 2022 will be given preference.
- Applicant with higher marks in Chemistry will be given a higher rank.
- Candidates with higher total score in Physics, Chemistry and Biology will be given preference.
- Applicant with higher percentage in Class 10 will be given a higher rank.
- In case the tie still is not resolved, Date of Birth will become the deciding factor. Candidate with higher age will be given preference.
- Even after applying all these methods, the tie still does not get broken, than computerized random selection will be carried out, which will be the ultimate tie breaker.
KLEU AIET 2022 Counselling
Candidates who are able to score more than the cut off marks are shortlisted and called for counselling process. Counselling for courses under KLEU AIET 2022 will start in September 2022. Candidates must know that appearing in the counselling process is necessary for admission and no candidate will be given admission if he/she does not appear in the counselling process, irrespective of his/her score in the entrance test.
