MAT Question Paper is divided into 5 Sub-sections:
- MAT Language Comprehension: The section tests the reading, vocabulary, and comprehension skills of the candidate.
- MAT Data Analysis and Sufficiency: Considered to be one of the toughest sections of the exam, Data Analysis tests the numerical and inferring skills of the candidate.
- MAT Mathematical Skill: Questions are based on Class IX and Class XII syllabus - Linear Programming, Calculus, Trigonometry, Inequalities, Algebra, etc.
- MAT Indian and Global Environment: The most dynamic section of the paper, Indian and Global Environment tests the awareness of the candidate regarding Business, Economy, Finance, and other major events.
- MAT Intelligence and Critical Thinking: The section tests the logical and critical thinking skills of the candidate and questions are framed from Blood Relation Problems, Syllogism, Seating Arrangements, etc.
