MHT CET 2023 application form is available in online mode only. General category candidates and outside state candidates need to pay INR 800 as MHT CET 2023 application form. While all other candidates need to pay INR 600 as non-refundable processing fee. How to Fill MHT CET 2023 Application Form?

The given steps have to be followed by candidates to fill the application form successfully:

Step 1: MHT CET 2023 Registration

  • In order to register online, candidates had to visit the official website mahacet.org and click on ‘Apply Online’.

  • MHT CET 2023 Registration page opens up wherein you have to first register and then fill the online form.
  • To complete the registration process you have to provide a valid email and phone number. 
  • After successful registration, your user Id and Password will be sent via SMS/Email. 

Step 2: Filling of Online Application form

After successful registration candidates had to start filling the online application form where accurate information like Personal Details, Contact Information, Reservation, Educational Qualifications, and other mandatory details are required.

  1. Personal Information: Here, details like Father’s/Husband’s/Guardian’s Name, Mother’s First name, Gender as applicable, Date of Birth are required.
  2. Contact Information: Enter valid personal address, email id, personal mobile number and nationality along with other required information while filling the form online. An email and SMS will be sent to the registered email id and mobile no. Please quote your Application number in all future correspondence with MHT CET Office.
  1.  Reservation: Select Category from the given options, i.e. General, SC/ST, NC-OBC. In the case of Reserved Categories, you have to fill additional details such as Caste/Tribe name, State/Union Territory, etc. You can access these details from the National Commission for Backward Classes website.
  2. Other Details: People with disabilities have to select “Yes” in the PWD field. All candidates have to enter the asked information (Aadhar number, name of the bank, type of account, IFSC code, etc.) while filling the form online
  1. Education Details: This section requires you to fill in your educational details from class 12th up to your most recent academic qualification. You have to enter the details like HSC/12th class examination/Diploma (Compulsory for all candidates), Bachelor Degree Details (Compulsory for all candidates), Other Professional Degree, Post-graduation Degree Details (if any)
  2. Login Details Required for MHT CET 2023: Select the subject(s) you wish to appear in MHT CET 2023 viz. Mathematics/Biology. You have to enter a Password while filling the online Application Form that should contain 8 to 15 characters and must include at least one uppercase character, one lowercase character, and one number. Remember the password since it will be required while filling the application form.
  3. Declaration by the Candidate: The applicants have to click on "I Agree" after carefully going through the points mentioned. The security key has to be entered diligently after which the applicants can click "Next" to proceed further.

Note: Check all the data filled in the Online Application Form before submitting it. No changes in Name, Father's Name, Date of Birth, Mobile No, and Email ID are permitted once confirmed and submitted.

Step 3: Upload Images

Click on the “Upload Photo & Signature” tab. Upload the Photograph/Signature as per the set standard.

  • The size of the photograph should be between 15 KB to 50 KB.
  • The size of the signature file should be between 5 KB to 20 KB.
  • The format accepted is JPG/JPEG only. 
  • Candidates have to upload one Id Proof also in .pdf format only and the size should be between 15 to 256 KB.

Note: Make sure that the scanned signature and photographs have a white background.

Step 4: MHT CET 2023 Application Fee Payment

The MHT CET 2023 Application Fee is required to be paid online. Candidates can pay the requisite fee using Netbanking, Credit Card, Debit Card, Mobile wallets, etc. The service charge (as applicable) will be borne by the candidate. The applicants must note that the MHT CET 2023 Application Fee is non-refundable and non-transferable under any circumstances.

For General Category Candidates from Maharashtra State, Outside Maharashtra State (OMS), J & K Migrant candidates INR 800 /-
For Candidates of Backward Class Categories [SC, ST, VJ/DT- NT(A), NT(B), NT(C), NT(D), OBC, SBC] and Persons with Disability candidates belonging to Maharashtra State only. INR 600 /-
Additional Late Registration fee  INR 500 /-

Step 5: Confirmation Page

On successful payment of the MHT CET Application fee, a confirmation of the same will be displayed on the screen. After successful payment, the candidate could take the printout of MHT CET 2023 confirmation page for future reference.

How to Retrieve MHT CET 2023 Password?

In case the candidate forgets their password, it can be retrieved by performing the following steps:

  • Step 1: Visit the official website and click Login. The following page will appear on the screen:
  • Step 2: Enter Application Number, Date of Birth, and Mother’s First Name.
  • Step 3: After entering the required details, validate them. Instructions to reset the password will be sent to the registered mobile number and email ID.

How to Retrieve MHT CET 2023 Application Number?

In case the candidate forgets their Application number, it can be retrieved by following the given steps:

  • Step 1: Visit the official website www.dtemaharashtra.gov.in and click Login.
  • Step 2: Enter your full name, Father’s/Husband’s Name, Date of Birth, Mother’s First Name and security key.
  • Step 3: After entering the required details, check the details again and validate. The application number will be sent to the registered email or mobile number.

Documents Required for MHT CET 2023 Registration

To fill the form easily and correctly you need to keep the following documents handy with you:

  • Marksheet of Class 10th 
  • Marksheet of Class 12th 
  • Scanned passport size photograph
  • Scanned Signature
  • Address Proof
  • Category Certificate, if any.

Note: The documents that are required to be uploaded while filling the application form should be in the prescribed format, otherwise you will not be able to submit the application form.

  • Before the final submission of application form candidates must verify all the information provided by them.
  • You cannot submit your fees without making the online payment. While paying the fee, do not press the refresh or back button, if you do so then your payment may not be considered successful.
  • Provide accurate information like contact number, email ID, address details.
  • All the details are very important for further communication with the authorities.
  • Candidate should note that if they are appearing for both the groups i.e. PCM and PCB then their Percentile score of Physics or Chemistry cannot be used interchangeably among the groups.
  • Candidates are instructed to select the Medium /Language of Question Paper before submitting the application of MHT CET 2023. 
  • The medium will be English, Urdu, Marathi for Physics, Chemistry and Biology.
  • Mathematics paper will only be available in the English Language.
  • The center once allotted will not be changed under any circumstances.
  • Candidates who have opted for both PCM/PCB group then there are chances that they might get 2 different exam centers

Ans. If your School is situated between Colaba and Mahim or Colaba and Sion, then select Mumbai (11) and if it is beyond Sion and Mahim, then select Mumbai Suburban (12).

Ques. How do I convert CGPA to a percentage?

Ans. You just need to multiply your CGPA with 9.5 and the result will be your percentage. You can also contact the principal of your school / junior college for the conversion formula.

Ques. I am an ST Category candidate for Madhya Pradesh. Shall I get the benefit of ST Category in MHT CET?

Ans. No. In MHT CET, the Reservation will be given to the Backward Class candidates of Maharashtra State only. You can check the eligibility criteria to get detailed information.

Ques. Can we pay our MHT CET application fees via a demand draft?

Ans. No. The only way to pay MHT CET application fees is online via a debit card/ credit card/ net banking/ mobile wallets.
