Section-wise NATA Preparation Tips
Nata 2023 is divided into two sections: Section A comprises Drawing Based-Test that a candidate has to take in the offline mode. In Section B, it includes Maths and General Aptitude Section. This section is conducted in online mode. The questions asked are of objective type, i.e. candidates are required to select one correct option. The best part of this entrance exam is that there is no negative marking. Therefore, candidates can attempt all the questions without a fear of marks deduction.
NATA 2023 Part A: Drawing
In this paper, candidates are required to attempt three drawing questions in a duration of 135 minutes.

Points to remember in Drawing Based Test

Begin your preparation with the perspective/memory drawing question. Take 5 minutes and decide your eye level and view. So not begin sketching directly. Try to complete your drawing in 35 minutes. If you are unable to complete it, leave that question and move on to the next question.

For 2 Dimensional, Sketch roughly on a piece of paper first and then on your main drawing sheet. Try not to take more than 10 minutes. Color it in the next 15 minutes and move ahead to the next question.

For 3 Dimensional, complete the pencil sketch in 10 minutes and the remaining 15-20 minutes should be for shadow/texture, etc as per the requirement of the question.

At last in 15 minutes give a final touch-up or anything which you have left out in any of the questions. Try to solve previous years’ sample papers by setting the time limits. You can adjust and set your time limits at your convenience.
