NEET PG Cut off 2023: Tie-breaker Criteria for Merit List

In case of two or more candidates securing equal marks in NEET PG 2023 merit list, the conducting authority will use the tie-breaking procedure as mentioned below.

  1. Candidates with a higher number of correct answers in NEET PG question paper will be given a higher rank.
  2. Applicants with less number of incorrect answers will be put in a better position in the rank list for NEET PG
  3. The age of the candidate will be considered and the elder one will be awarded at a higher rank.
  4. Candidates with higher aggregate percentage in all MBBS professional exams will be given better rank.

Factors Determining NEET PG Cut off 2023

NBE releases the cut-offs with the results of NEET PG. Only those applicants who qualify the exam are qualified for the counseling process. NEET PG Cut off is decided based on a number of factors listed below:

NBE will release the merit list for 50% All Indis Quota seats based on which candidates will be eligible to register for the counselling process. NEET PG Counselling will be conducted by MCC for admission to 50% AIQ seats and 100% seats in deemed/central universities, ESIC/AFMS institutes.
