Ques. What is the difficulty level of the JIPMER MBBS entrance exam as compared to AIPMT? Which are the best reference books for the JIPMER entrance exam?

● Top Answer By Asmita Khandelwal on 03 Nov 21

Ans. Here are some points I gathered online regarding your question. This might give you a suggestion on how to approach and what to expect. JIPMER entrance exam is about having a combination of speed and accuracy.  There is not much difference in difficulty between the two papers i.e, NEET/AIPMT and JIPMER. They both ask questions from NCERT.  Questions asked in JIPMER are small and simple. It is not confusing.  For JIPMER exams it is recommended that you solve previous year’s questions to clear your concepts, revise formulas and revise the name reactions of organic chemistry. Physics, Chemistry, and Biology are quite easy as compared to other entrance exams, with NCERT you can solve 130-140/160. If you have prepared well for AIPMT then you won't face much difficulty in the other exams. English plays an important role in selection. No new books are recommended at this time. Go through the topics from the same books and notes. You will definitely score good marks.Read more

Ques. What is the difference between the NEET, JIPMER and AIIMS?

● Top Answer By Neha Uniyal on 03 Nov 21

Ans. JIPMER MBBS is an exam conducted independently by Jawaharlal Institute of Postgraduate Medical and Educational Research. Whereas NEET is a common eligibility test for all medical aspirants to secure seats in different government medical colleges. JIPMER contains 200 questions, 60 each from PCB and 20 related to English and Aptitude. There is no negative marking. Whereas, NEET is a very balanced exam, where speed, concepts, and presence of mind are tested. It requires you to fill an OMR sheet, which tests your concentration. It could be said that NEET is more difficult than JIPMER.  AIIMS, on the other hand, is a whole different exam. The selection ratio makes the exam more difficult. It is tougher than NEET or JIPMER. None of the questions are repeated. The paper is highly unpredictable. If the difficulty level is considered, AIIMS will be the most difficult. Students preparing for AIIMS have higher chances to score well in NEET and JIPMER as well.Read more
