Important Topics for NEET Chemistry

Important Topics for NEET Chemistry

NEET chemistry syllabus can be divided into 3 parts i.e Organic, Inorganic, and Physical Chemistry. The weightage of questions asked from each section is almost the same every year.

  • NEET Physical Chemistry: It’s the numerical section of NEET Chemistry.
  • NEET Organic Chemistry: From this section, you must focus on memorizing the names of various compounds that constitute reagents, subtracts, etc.
  • NEET Inorganic Chemistry: This section is considered the easiest section of NEET Chemistry.

Candidates must note that NEET 2022 syllabus will be reduced. As the classes will start late this year, candidates will not get enough time to cover up all the important topics hence the authorities have decided to curtail NEET 2022 syllabus. Check NEET Chemistry Syllabus

Important Topics based on all the 3 sections of chemistry are mentioned in the table below:

Organic Chemistry Inorganic Chemistry Physical Chemistry

NEET Chemistry Paper Analysis

NEET Chemistry Paper Analysis

Every year we can observe a steep increase in the number of students attempting NEET.

  • In NEET 2020 around 15 lakh, students appeared for the examination.
  • The increase in the number of candidates could be due to the rise in the number of states that are opting for NEET scores over other common entrance tests.
  • This also means that every year the competition is getting higher. So in order to prepare well for the exam candidates must go through the paper analysis. This will help them in getting an idea about the difficulty level of the exam, weightage of sections or topics etc.
