NEET 2022 Exam Centers list will be released by NTA along with the official notification. Based on last year’s exam centers list, a total of 202 exam cities and 3858 exam centers were used to conduct the examination. 

  • While completing NEET 2022 Application Form, candidates can opt for 4 exam centers based on the order of their preference. 
  • The allotted NEET 2022 exam center will be mentioned in your admit card and the center once allotted cannot be changed. Therefore, candidates are advised to choose NEET exam center very carefully. Check NEET 2022 Admit Card 
  • NTA had also increased NEET Exam Centers in Odisha from 54 to 83.

NEET Exam Centers 2022: International

In order to facilitate the Indian students based in the Middle-East Countries to appear last year i.e. in the 2021 session, NTA had decided to add Dubai as an Exam City for this exam in addition to Kuwait City. If the same options will be provided for NEET 2022 then candidates can opt for the following exam centers while filling the online application forms.

NTA has increased exam centers from 2546 to 3843. Here is the list of NEET exam centers that are newly added by NTA in the last year.


NEET 2022 Exam Centers: On the Basis of Language

Exam centers will be allotted according to the choice of language made by the candidate in their application form. Overall, there are 10 languages out of which candidates can choose to take their exam. The table given below enlists the languages and the states they will be available in.

How to check your NEET Exam Center?

  • Step 1- Visit the official website. 
  • Step 2- Click the link that says "Download admit card"
  • Step 3- Enter the NEET 2022 application number and password
  • Step 4- Check details like date & time of the exam, exam center address, etc
  • Step 5 - Download NEET 2022 admit card for future reference. 

How to Choose NEET 2022 Exam Centers?

  • While filling the NEET 2022 Application Form, candidates can fill up to 3 preferences for NEET exam centers.
  • After selecting the NEET Exam Center and filling the remaining application form candidates can submit their forms. 
  • Once the form is submitted, candidates cannot change their exam center. 

How to Change NEET Exam Center?

  • During the NEET Form correction, candidates will get the opportunity to change their exam center.
  • However, it is not necessary that the authority will provide the facility to the exam center. 

Documents Required at Exam Center

NEET Exam Center 2022: Documents Required 

Apart from the NEET Admit Card, candidates will be asked to present the following (below-mentioned) documents while entering the exam center. 

  • Passport size photograph affixed on NEET Admit Card
  • One passport size photograph to be affixed on Attendance Sheet.
  • Valid Original Identity proof, PwD certificate, if applicable. 
  • One Post Card Size (4”X6”) color photograph with white background should be pasted on the Proforma downloaded with the Admit Card and should be handed over to Invigilator at Centre.

A candidate can be prohibited from entering the exam hall in case he/she fails to present the documents along with NEET 2022 Admit Card.

NEET Exam Day Guidelines

NEET 2022 Exam Day Instructions 

  • The exam center will be opened 2.5 hours before the exam, i.e., at 7:30 am. No entry will be allowed after 9:30 am so candidates are advised to reach well in advance. 
  • Candidates are required to carry the NEET Admit Card, the proforma with a post card sized photograph pasted on it and some passport sized photographs to be pasted on the attendance sheet.
  • Carrying the Admit Card is mandatory for all students giving the exam. Without the admit card, they will not be allowed into the exam center.
  • Follow all the instructions mentioned in the admit card and maintain discipline in the exam hall.
  • Candidates are advised to make their own arrangements for personal belongings. Exam centers may or may not have any provision for depositing their bags, etc.
  • Candidates must follow the dress code prescribed in the Information Bulletin that can be accessed at the Official Website for NEET.
  • The roll number will be mentioned on every seat. Candidates must check whether it matches with the roll number on their admit card.
  • No candidate will be allowed to use toilets in last 30 minutes of examination i.e. from 12:30 pm to 01:00 pm.

NEET 2022 Exam Day Guidelines for Candidates with Disabilities

  • Taking into account the improvement in technology in new avenues, there should be a uniform and comprehensive policy across persons with benchmark disabilities.

  • There is no need for separate criteria for regular and competitive examination.

  • The candidates with benchmark disabilities should be provided with the facility of Scribe/ Reader/ Lab Assistant.

  • In case the candidates have disabilities like blindness, locomotor disability and cerebral palsy, they should also be provided with the facilities like Scribe/ Reader/ Lab Assistant if they ask for it.

  • Candidates with other benchmark disabilities, the Scribe/ Reader/ Lab Assistant facility will be provided after the production of the certification stating that the concerned person is unable to write and a scribe is essential to write the exam on his behalf.

  • Candidates should have the discretion of opting for his own scribe or ask the exam conducting body for the same. In this case, the candidates should be allowed to meet the scribe 2 days prior to the exam to find whether the scribe is suitable or not. Check NEET Reservation

  • If the scribe is provided by the examination body, the qualification of the scribe should not be more than the minimum qualification criteria for the exam i.e., matriculate and above.

  • In case the candidates bring their own scribe, the qualification of the scribe should be one step less than the qualification of the candidates. Candidate needs to submit the details of the scribe if they opt for the same.

  • In case of emergency, candidates should be allowed to take more than one scribe for writing a different paper. One scribe per subject is allowed.

  • Candidates should be allowed to choose the mode for taking the exams i.e., Braille/Computer/Large Print or even by recording the answers.

  • If the candidates with the benchmark disabilities are allowed to take the examination in computer-based mode, they should be allowed to check the computer one day prior to the exam. In case of any discrepancy, it should be rectified immediately.

  • The examination body should ensure that the question paper is in the proper format as opted by the candidate.

  • Assistive devices like talking calculator, tailor frame, braille slate, abacus, geometry kit, braille measuring tape, communication chart, and electronic devices should be allowed by the candidates.

  • The proper seating arrangement should be made prior to the exam day. The authorities should ensure that the seating arrangement is done on the ground floor.

  • The time of the start of the paper should be marked accurately and supplementary sheets should be provided timely.

  • For open examination, the examining body should provide suitable screen reading material in Braille/ e-text/ on computers having suitable screen reading software.

  • Candidates with hearing- impairment should be provided with alternative objective questions.

It must be ensured that the guidelines mentioned above are followed by the exam authorities while the exam is conducted for the candidates with benchmark disabilities.

Ques. I am opting Assamese as the language of the NEET 2022 Question Paper. Will I be able to get to the center of examination in Delhi?

Ans. No. In case you opt for a vernacular language as medium of question paper, you will be allotted the exam center in the respective state of the vernacular language only. So you will get the examination center only in Assam.

Ques. Could I also get the examination center in a city other than the three options specified in the application form?

Ans. Yes. NTA reserves all rights to allocate an exam center in a city other than your specified choices.

Ques. I reside in Delhi. Can I opt Bangalore as exam center as my choice?

Ans. Yes. However, it is advised to select the center city in the State of your residence.

Ques. Can I get the NEET exam center changed after allotment of my admit card?

Ans. No, it is not possible for the candidate to change the exam center allotment after the admit card has been published. 

Ques. What do I need to bring at the exam center?

Ans. Apart from the NEET Admit Card, candidates will be asked to present the following (below-mentioned) documents while entering the exam center.

Ans. There will be  more than 200 NEET 2022 exam centers across the country.

Ques. How can I specify my choice for the preferred exam center?

Ans. You can mark your choice while filling the online application form. You will be given three choices which have to be filled in order of preference.

Ques. On what basis are the NEET exam center choices fulfilled?

Ans. The exam committee allocates you the exam center depending on your specified preference and availability of the corresponding exam center. If you have chosen a vernacular language then the center will be allotted accordingly.

Ques. From where can I find the information related to my allocated NEET 2022 exam center?

Ans. The name and address of the exam center allocated to you will be mentioned in the admit card issued to you.

Ques. Are the NEET 2022 exam centers available in every state of India?

Ans. Yes, NTA ensures that the exam has a wide reach and therefore NEET Exam Centers are available in every state in India. 

Ques. I want to select Hindi as the language of my NEET question paper. Am I eligible to select any exam center in India?

Ans. Yes.

Hi Deep Jyoti, the passport size photo that you carry must be the same as used in the application form to avoid discrepancies.

Hello Amit,

Unfortunately, the last date for NEET form correction was July 20th, 2020. And NTA hasn’t released any special guidelines (because of the pandemic) for changing the exam centers.

Hi Yuvasri, Candidates will have to log in to their NEET account and enter the required details along with their 3 choices of exam centers. The choices must be filled according to the candidate’s order of preference. Once the form is submitted, candidates are not allowed to make any changes. Hence, it is advised that the candidates double check every entry that they have made and choose the center as per their convenience and accessibility. The selection of NEET exam center will be done on a first come first serve basis.
