NMIMS NPAT 2023 Syllabus consists of subjects such as Logical Reasoning & General Intelligence, and Quantitative & Numerical Ability. NMIMS NPAT Paper 2 is held to test candidates’ ability in Spatial Ability and Visualization Skills, Observation & Problem Solving, and General Awareness & Design Sensibility. 

  • NMIMS NPAT 2023 is scheduled from January 4 to May 31, 2023. Candidates appearing for NMIMS NPAT 2023 should be aware of NMIMS NPAT 2023 Syllabus and practice accordingly. It is important to know about NMIMS NPAT Exam Pattern before discussing the NMIMS NPAT Syllabus.
  • There are 2 papers conducted in NMIMS NPAT- NMIMS NPAT Paper 1 (Common) and NMIMS NPAT Paper 2 (Design). Each paper is further divided into 3 sections. In NMIMS NPAT 2023 Paper 1, candidates will be tested based on their Proficiency in the English Language,

What is NPAT? NMIMS Programs After Twelfth or NMIMS NPAT is conducted by constituent schools of SVKM’s Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies. The exam is conducted for students seeking admission to various Undergraduate and Integrated Degree Programs offered by NMIMS at Mumbai, Shirpur, Indore, Navi Mumbai, and Bengaluru Campuses.

This section will test the candidates’ proficiency in grammar and comprehension. The questions will be asked from the following topics:

NMIMS NPAT 2023 Preparation Tips

  • Candidate should get into the habit of regular reading of a newspaper and any magazine which covers the contemporary events well. This will help in building a good vocabulary and also help with the General Knowledge section.
  • Brush up on the basics of grammar to tackle the error detection questions and sentence correction.
  • Identify the words you are not familiar with and try to understand their meaning and usage.
  • Listen to speeches or watch movies and/or documentaries with subtitles. This will increase the knowledge of spoken English and might come in use while attempting sentence completion and para jumble questions.
  • Candidates should talk to people in English. They may feel sluggish and shy at first and will make lots of mistakes but soon they will discover that with more talking, their confidence, as well as their accuracy, is increasing.

Preparation Tips

  • Spend some seconds over a question and study each question carefully. A brief explanation of why each choice is correct or incorrect should go into candidates’ minds.
  • Candidates should never assume or use any information which is not given in the question. Observe only the information given in each question when choosing among the alternative responses.
  • Read both the factual passage and the sentence completion instruction carefully. Both must be considered in making your choice.
  • Be sure to read all the response choices carefully before eliminating or choosing one of them.
  • The candidate can solve most of these questions by following certain tricks and shortcut methods. Therefore, a practice of previous year papers and chapter-wise questions is important.
