RMCAAT has been replaced by RMCAAP in which admission will be granted to MCA Courses in various institutes under Rajasthan Technical University. Admission will be given based on the scores in NIMCET 2022. RMCAAP 2022 Admission Forms will be released soon and candidates who have appeared for NIMCET 2022 can apply for admission based on their eligibility. RMCAAT will be conducted by Rajasthan Technical University (RTU), Kota, for offering admission into Master of Computer Application (MCA) Courses in Technical Institute of Rajasthan.
- Application Form for RMCAAP will be released in the month of April 2022 (tentatively). Interested candidates can apply by paying the application fee of INR 1200.

RMCAAP Eligibility Criteria
Given below are the criteria on which the eligibility standards are defined by the authorities. Read on!
- Nationality: Candidate must be a citizen of India.
- Age Limit: Candidate must be 20 years or more in age to appear for the exam
- Academic Qualification: eligibility is as per the programs:
For First year MCA
- Candidates must have taken up Mathematics as a subject in Class XII or graduation.
- Candidates must have pursued a graduation degree of minimum three years with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks (45% for reserved category).
- Candidates in their final graduation year with a valid NIMCET 2022 score can also apply.
Lateral Entry in Second year MCA
- Candidates must have taken up Mathematics as a subject in Class XII or graduation.
- Candidates must have a UG degree in BCA, B.Sc. (I.T.), or B.Sc. (Computer Science) with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks (45% for reserved category).

RMCAAP 2022 Registration
The registration for RMCAAP 2022 will be conducted online in the month of April 2022 soon after release of NIMCET Results. Candidates will be required to register online and pay the registration fee. Candidates can refer to the step by step process to fill the RMCAAP 2022 application form given below:

- Click on “RMCAAP 2022 Registration”.
- Provide candidate’s name, date of birth and candidate’s father name.
- Enter the 12-digit Token Number given on the receipt of payment to activate the application form.
- Provide requisite details such as academic qualification, category, domicile etc.
- Upload necessary documents and verify the information filled.
- Submit the form after ensuring that no further changes have to be made.
- Take a print out of the completed form.

RMCAAT 2022 Application Fee
- Application fee of RMCAAT 2022 will be INR 1200 which is non-refundable.
- The said amount has to be paid via a challan that will be generated upon successful registration.
- The applicant will have to contact any authorized e-Mitracentre for fee payment.
- A receipt will be given to the candidate after the fee has been paid, with a 12-digit Token number. The candidate must keep it safe as it will be needed at later stages of admission.
RMCAAP 2022 Admit Card
The admit card for RMCAAP 2022 will be made available on the official website a week prior to the exam date. Eligible candidates who have successfully applied for the exam will be issued a hall ticket. Follow the steps given below to download the RMCAAT 2022 Admit Card:

RMCAAT Exam Pattern
- RMCAAT question paper is divided into 3 sections namely, Elementary Computer Knowledge, Mathematical Ability,Reasoning and Aptitude
- Each question has a weightage of 1 mark.
- The total weightage of the exam is 200 marks.

RMCAAP 2022 Admission Process
Those students who have obtained the minimum cut-off marks and qualified the entrance exam will be called for RMCAAT 2022 Admission process. The various steps involved are explained below.
- Choice Filling and Locking: The candidate are required to fill the online option form mentioning his/her choice of institute in order of preference. This can be edited or modified any number of times in the specified period. However, once satisfied with the completed option form, the choices must be locked through the “Final Lock” option.
- Seat Matrix: The most recent seat matrix will be uploaded on the official website during the period of choice filling.
- Seat Allocation: The allotment of seats will be done on the basis of score obtained in RMCAAT 2022, NIMCET 2022 or on the percentage marks achieved in graduation by the candidates.
- Allotment Letter: After the result of seat allotment has been announced, the selected candidates will be able to download their allotment letters from the website. It will not be sent via post.
- Reporting: The candidate will have to report to the allotted institute along with the requisite documents within the specified time frame. A provisional admission letter will be granted to those who have reported. In case the candidate fails to report on time, his seat will be cancelled.
- Upward Movement of Seats: Vacant seats will be available for upward movement after the first round of counselling is over.
- Allotment of new seat: If a candidate is allotted a new college through upgrade, the previously allotted seat will stand cancelled. The vacated seat would be allotted to another worthy candidate.
- Reporting after upward-movement: The candidates will have to report to the institute/college allotted to them after upward-movement.
- Non reporting: If a candidate does not report to the allotted institute within the specified reporting period, his/her allotted seat will be cancelled and the candidate will not have any claim against this on the vacant seat whatsoever.
- Dropout Seat: If a candidate wants to drop his seat after reporting to the institute allotted to him/her in 1st counselling or in upward-movement, he/she must submit an application only to the Principal/Director of the College/Institute himself/herself.
Candidates must carry these in original along with two sets of attested photocopies. The list of such documents required for RMCAAT 2022 counselling is given below:

- Mobile number of the candidate or a close relative
