To check the results online, applicants need to follow simple instructions, as mentioned below:

Normalization of Scores in TANCET 2023
The process of normalization will be carried out in TANCET (now CEETA PG) for ME/M.Tech/M.Arch./M.Plan only. There is no normalization process for MBA/ MCA exam scores. Candidates’ scores will be calculated based on the marks scored by them in TANCET/ CEETA PG (Raw Scores) and a Normalized Score will be obtained. Both scores will be calculated as follows -
- Raw Score - Marks scored by a candidate in Part-1 + Part-2 + Part-3 of CEETA PG Exam.
- Part 1 is Engineering Mathematics
- Part 2 is Basic Engineering & Science
- Part 3 is for different Disciplines.
- Normalized Score - The Mean marks of Raw Scores for different disciplines may vary. The conducting authority will use the following formula for calculating normalized score:
40 + (10/S) (r-m)
where, S - standard deviation; m - mean marks; r - raw marks

TANCET Merit List 2023 for M.E/ M.Tech/ M.Plan
Merit list of the qualified and successful candidates will be prepared by Anna University based on scores obtained in CEETA PG 2023 and GATE. Anna University will prepare 3 separate M.E/ M.Tech/M.Plan Rank Lists for admission viz.
1. GATE 2023 Category Merit List
- For the Candidates(Engineering/Technology), GATE 2023 Score will be taken into account for preparing merit.
- For Engineering Science and Life Science paper Codes, Merit List will be prepared based on the Candidate’s GATE 2023 score in Engineering Science (XE) and Life Science (XL) papers and TANCET 2023 score with a weightage of 70:30.
