VSAT 2023 Exam Pattern, Syllabus, Recommended Books and Exam Day Instructions

Vignan’s University conducts the university level examination Vignan Scholastic Aptitude Test (VSAT) for admission into the B.Tech course offered by the Vignan’s University and its associated campuses. VSAT 2023 is scheduled for multiple slots from March 1 to April 30, 2023 in online mode.

  • The question paper consists of 120 Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) and the duration of the exam is 2 hrs 30 minutes.
  • Mode of the exam will be English only.
  • It comprises 4 sections via Maths or Biology, Physics, Chemistry and English/Aptitude.
  • One mark will be awarded for each right answer while no mark will be deducted for wrong answers.
  • Syllabus for B.Tech course will be based on the syllabus of Class 11 and 12 of Physics, Chemistry, Maths/Biology and English/Aptitude. Check VSAT Syllabus

Note: Students can also get admission into B.Tech programme through JEE Main and EAMCET.

VSAT 2023 Pattern


VSAT 2023 Exam Pattern

VSAT 2023 will be conducted in online mode. VSAT 2023 question paper will be of Objective Type. The exam paper will be published in English language. The duration of the exam will be 180 minutes. One marks will be awarded for each right answer while no mark will be deducted for the wrong answer. To appear in the admission process through VSAT 2023, it is mandatory for every candidate to qualify VSAT 2023. Before appearing in any stage of VSAT, candidates must go through VSAT 2023 Exam Pattern.

The question paper will be divided into four sections i.e. Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics/Biology and English/Aptitude.

  • For B.Tech courses, candidates have to attempt Chemistry, Physics, Mathematics and English/Aptitude section.

VSAT Exam Day Instructions

VSAT 2023 Exam Day Important Instructions

These are some important instructions for VSAT 2023 that candidates should follow.

  • A candidate will not be allowed to appear at the examination centre other than that allotted to him/her in the Admit Card.
  • No candidate will be allowed to enter the examination centre/hall after the commencement of examination.
  • After the invigilator has verified VSAT 2023 Admit Card of the candidate, he must sign on the attendance sheet in the presence of the invigilator and mention the hall ticket number also.
  • The candidate should follow the instructions given by the invigilators in the examination room
  • Candidates should not indulge in any argument with the invigilators or other staff involved in the examination duty at the examination centre.
  • Applicants should neither talk to each other nor discuss any matter during the examination.
  • Those appearing in the exam should not disturb other candidates in the examination room and maintain complete silence during the examination.
  • Candidates are not permitted to carry any electronic device and study material at examination hall like (Mobile, Bluetooth, Pager, watch, test series, books, model papers, etc.)
  • The decision of Vignan University shall be final in all matters.
