    International Applicants must apply 90 days prior to the deadlines to be considered for admission:

    Royal College of Surgeons International Admissions

    The admission process for domestic and international students are both conducted online. However, international students have additional requirements and must be careful with their visa process so as to complete it in time. To avail scholarships on a priority basis, students must apply early.

    Ireland Student Visa

    Students are required to apply online for their visa through the Irish Government website. Applicants must provide the following documents to complete the Visa Application, which can be done by visiting the official government website.

    General documents to take for the visa interview:

    • Passport (valid for at least six months ahead)
    • Original application Form
    • Health Insurance Cover
    • Official Admission Letter and completed Visa Application Form.
    • Completed and signed visa application form
    • Proof of permanent address outside Ireland.
    • Two Passport- size photographs (2”x2")
    • Receipt of fee payment.
    • Proof of funding sufficient to cover the tuition and living expenses.

    Royal College of Surgeons Undergraduate Admissions

    The University offers undergraduate degrees in a wide range of medical courses. Students must go through course requirements carefully and apply in due time.

    Course-specific requirements for Indian Students

    Royal College of Surgeons Graduate Admissions

    The college offers various post-graduate courses. Each course has a tuition fee of approximately €6,500 – €12,250. Students may apply for postgraduate/research scholarships. Applicants can apply by February 1 for their chosen field of study.

    Recognition by the Irish Medical Council or any other EU medical regulatory registration body is mandatory to get admissions in courses mentioned in the table above. The University has a highly selective admission process. International students are advised to apply prior to deadlines and ensure their visa completion at least 3 months prior to the start of their semester.     I had graduated in medicine and was looking up for option online and through other sources when I came across this college.It is one of the oldest institution where the surgeons are trained. Thus, without giving a second thought, I went ahead with the application process to pay €75 online for the further application process.

    Scholarship :

    I did managed to receive a scholarship of €15,000 as a fee waiver on my tuition fee. I was awarded the scholarship based on my school academics
