The West Bengal National University of Juridical Sciences (NUJS), Kolkata

The West Bengal National University of Juridical Sciences was established in 1999 by the Bar Council of India (BCI). It is an autonomous body and is considered among the best national law schools. It offers undergraduate, postgraduate as well as integrated law courses.

• The institute has been given 6th rank by NIRF, 3rd rank by the Week, and 2nd rank by Outlook among the top law colleges in India in 2019 and 2020.
• Admissions into undergraduate and postgraduate courses at NUJS Kolkata are based on the CLAT entrance exam.
• The annual fee for the undergraduate law courses is INR 2,43,600 and for the postgraduate courses is INR 1,44,000.

Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Kharagpur

Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur, established in 1951, is a public engineering college. Along with offering engineering courses they also have LLB, LLM, MPC, MSc, MBA, and P,h.D.

• It has been ranked in the 4th position by NIRF among the top law colleges in India in 2022.
• Admissions into LLB and LLM prograprogramsT Kharagpur are done through the entrance exam conducted by the college.
• The students can apply for LLB courses only after completion of a bachelor's degree in engineering, technology, or medicine with at least 60% marks.

South Calcutta Law College, Kolkata

South Calcutta Law College was established in 1970 and is a government-aided law college. It is affiliated with the University of Calcutta and is approved by the Bar Council of India (BCI).

• It offers undergraduate and integrated-level programs and has a campus strength of 4,000 students.
• The institute has been ranked the 34th best law college in India by India Today.
• Admissions are done through the entrance exam conducted by Calcutta University.
• The approved intake for each course is 120 students.
