Amsterdam Business School is the business department of the University of Amsterdam which is one of Europe's major comprehensive universities. The University offers bachelor's, master's and MBA programs. It has a total enrollment of 3,000+ students comprising international students from 28 different nationalities. There are limited seats in every program and therefore admission is selective in nature.

Students seeking admission to Amsterdam Business School must take note of the following points:

  • The Bachelor in Business Analytics program is scheduled to start in September only.

Visa Process for International Students

Candidates willing to study in the Netherlands must obtain Dutch Long term Stay Visa/Residence permit. Candidates should note that if they are accepted by the university then their student visa is applied by the university on their behalf. Once the application is accepted, candidates have to take an appointment from the embassy to collect their visa and get their biometrics done. The process also includes a visa interview.

Amsterdam Business School Undergraduate Admissions

Candidates willing to take admission in the undergraduate courses offered at the Amsterdam Business School will have to apply online for admission and will also be required to appear for a Selection Test.

What is a Selection Test?

The admission committee takes a selection test for the subjects relevant to the bachelors program. International candidates can give this test from their country under supervision. After the test, each candidate is assigned a ranking number which indicates whether a candidate has passed the test and is eligible for admission at the school or not. However, candidates have to meet all other admission requirements also.

The University will communicate the admission decision to the candidates after the submission of application. The decision will be communicated via email. If accepted, candidates will have to accept the offer via Studielink within two weeks. If the candidate does not accept the offer within 2 weeks, the admission will be automatically cancelled.
