    The Delft University of Technology is the oldest and one of the highly ranked public technological universities in the Netherlands. Established on 8 January 1842 by William II of the Netherlands as a Royal Academy. It changed its name to the Delft University of Technology in 1986. It is consistently ranked as one of the best universities in the Netherlands. It is peak rankings as the QS Top Universities gave Delft 57th place in their QS Global World Ranking 2021. It is also the 70th in Best Global Universities in Europe and 9th in Best Global Universities in the Netherlands in US News’ rankings for 2021.

    The Delft University of Technology offers Undergraduate Courses, Pre-Masters programs, and Postgraduate Courses. The University is known specifically for excelling in several STEM-related courses, such as Civil and Structural Engineering, Mechanical engineering, Engineering and Technology, and Architecture among others. The university has more than 19,000 students, within eight departments and numerous research institutes, both undergraduate and postgraduate, and employs a faculty of more than 2,500 scientists and 2,100 support and management staff. The University expanded its research and education over time and became a polytechnic school in 1864 and an institute of technology/university in 1905.

    Placement :

    Delft observes the best placements. Best companies visit the campus and specifically for the engineering course, the companies hire almost all the students. Although, I have plans to study further and develop my research further, but a lot of my seniors have got placed in the R&D division of big companies. Also, few of them for the opportunity from Tesla.

    Internship :

    I developed a college project under my professor. For the same, I wrote a research paper under my professor. The college paid me an amount of €5000. I went on to submit it in the annual national conference.
