Anna University: Time Table for Final Semester Exams Expected to be Released Soon

Anna University will soon be releasing the time table for Undergraduate and Postgraduate final semester exams.

As per UGC guidelines, all the universities are expected to complete the examination by September 2020. Anna University has already announced the cancellation of intermediate exams and has decided to conduct the final semester exams in online mode. However, for the ease of students with poor internet connectivity, the university will also provide offline examination facilities at a later stage.

Anna University will release the exam schedule for affiliated colleges and for Campus separately. Students are advised to keep an eye on the university website as the dates can be released anytime soon.

The University also said in a statement that some portions could not be taught due to shortened time amid COVID-19, so one of the five units in each subject for final exams have been dropped.

Meanwhile, Anna University also released the new academic schedule according to which 75 days time will be given to engineering colleges to complete the syllabus for next semester. For the same, all the affiliated colleges began the next academic year from August 12 onwards and the last working day will be October 26, 2020.

The registration process for the TANCA exam which is conducted for admission in PG courses across Tamil Nadu will also commence from August 28, 2020, as declared by Anna University. Read Here to know more
