AP EAMCET 2020: JNTUK Issues Guidelines and COVID-19 Safety Measures for Students; Check Details Here


Preparations to conduct AP EAMCET 2020 have already been made by Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University (JNTU) Kakinada. The exam is scheduled to be conducted between 17th to 25th September, 2020. 

The examination will be conducted by JNTU Kakinada via online computer based mode across a number of examination centres all over Andhra Pradesh. The AP EAMCET 2020 had previously been postponed owing to the spread of COVID-19 pandemic. 

The conducting body of AP EAMCET 2020, JNTU Kakinada has issued a set of guidelines as protocol that is to be adhered to by all candidates appearing for the examination. These are to ensure the safety of all candidates and avoid any risk of potential transmission.

All candidates are required to follow the set guidelines while at the examination center by following precautionary measures and proper hygiene. This entails that all candidates must wear a face mask at all times while in the exam center or in the surrounding premises. They should also carry hand sanitizers to maintain cleanliness. 

Social distancing must be maintained at all times. Dedicated personnel will be stationed at entry gates to check the temperature of every candidate appearing for the exam. Once the candidate is done with the exam, they can submit their respective admit cards at the drop box before exiting in an orderly manner.

Keeping in mind the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, the authorities will recall the instruction asking the candidate to carry an attested copy of the application by the college principal or gazetted officer. 

Nevertheless, in case of detection of false information submitted by the candidate, he/she will be subject to disqualification and will be barred from appearing for the exam.

What to carry to the AP EAMCET 2020 Exam Center?

  • Candidates are required to carry a personal ID and admit card for verification prior to the exam. 
  • Only clear water bottles will be permitted inside the examination center 
  • Candidates must wear masks and carry hand sanitizers. Gloves are also recommended to ensure safety. 
  • Electronic devices such as mobile phones will not be permitted. 
  • Candidates must carry all necessary stationery items with them while appearing for TS EAMCET 2020.
