BAMU Final Year Exam 2020 deferred, new dates to be released soon


Aurangabad: Online examinations of Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Marathwada University (BAMU) which was going to be conducted from 1st October onwards, are postponed. 

On Tuesday, September 29, 2020, experiencing a hindrance due to a statewide stir among the non-teaching staff, BAMU has declared postponement of its upcoming online examinations starting October 1, 2020. 

Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Marathwada University, a NAAC grade A state university with a NIRF 2020 overall rank of 101, was going to hold its online examinations from 1st October onwards when it experienced an unexpected halt due to a stir among its non-teaching staffs across the state of Maharashtra on Tuesday.

BAMU Vice-Chancellor Mr. Pramod Yeole confirmed the rise of such development and assured the students saying that a new exam timetable will be released on behalf of the University, shortly. 

The University was going to conduct online examinations for 1.42 lakhs students admitted to its 404 colleges, the Public Relation Officer Mr. Sanjay Shinde has informed the PTI. 

The online examinations were to be held till October 15th, 2020, starting from the 1st. A total of 92% of students opted for the online mode of examination.

Students were to take the examination from their laptops, mobiles, or personal computers. In case of the availability of either of them, students were to give the exam from the MS-CIT center of Maharashtra Computer Knowledge Board. 

Previously, BAMU planned for a mandatory mock test before the examinations to help its students with the virtual system. It also facilitated cloud-based streamwise messenger groups for smooth online examinations.
