What is your philosophy of leadership? How would you describe your leadership style?

“Transformational leadership defines my approach”

Being the Additional Registrar of the Bharti College of Engineering & Technology, I believe in maintaining the standard of the institution and the education. Keeping a positive relationship with all the students and the stakeholders is an important part of my decision-making process. As a leader, it is also my responsibility to ensure discipline within the institution.

How does the curriculum of Bharti College of engineering & technology ensure the best practice of industry?

“Interaction with the industry personnel and adequate training”

As far as our engineering curriculum is concerned, we have put our best efforts in aligning the curriculum with the industry standards. The industry is a dynamic place and it keeps evolving. To stay relevant and secure a place in the industry, we have to make sure that our students get the maximum exposure to the industry. We work on providing industrial training facilities for students and faculty to help them understand and develop an industrial approach to syllabus.


What do you think your roles and responsibilities to the Institute and the students are?

“Always being a provider for the students”

My responsibilities are providing all the resources the students need to gain more and more knowledge. I see myself as a facilitator and my responsibility is to always keep this institute on a path towards development. We want our students to emerge as global citizens with the utmost professionalism.

What was your vision for the college? Has it evolved, and how far along in implementing that vision are you?

“A holistic approach to getting the best outcome”

When I came to this institute my vision was to bring this institute to a proper level of appreciation by students and stakeholders. I have always envisioned this institute to be a place of learning with the best quality education. I spent a great time with the institute and I can say that to an extent I have fulfilled that vision. Not only coursework, but I constantly put emphasis on developing soft-skills and enhancing the behavioral aspects of an individual.

How do you tend to establish a healthy relation and environment in your institute?

“Open communication and making the students feel included”

Arranging eco-friendly connective programs like cultural, NSS, and extracurricular activities proves beneficial in developing a healthy environment. Also, giving the students space to openly discuss their opinions and grievances helps them feel connected and appreciated.
