Explore career prospects with an industry-acclaimed law degree and explore the competitive academic degree options that students have at the undergraduate level to pursue higher education in Law.

We live in an era that encourages solutions from multiple perspectives. Thus, we cannot expect students to be restricted to one particular domain knowledge and be unaware of the exchanges happening across disciplines. This calls for an interdisciplinary approach in degrees, which cater to various subjects. A career in law is exactly one of these dynamic professions that has expanded beyond black robes and court rooms. Today, a law graduate can eye for a high profile job in corporate houses, sports organizations, media and entertainment businesses, to name a few. This is, of course, in addition to core legal jobs such as, opportunities in law firms, arbitration and mediation, judiciary and academia.

Law Graduates: Benefits of An Integrated Degree & Career Prospects

The benefit of an integrated degree in a comparatively smaller time-frame with no additional costs goes a long way in shaping the career of law graduates. Professionals sitting at the helm of companies, corporations and other organizations have realized the importance of having a professional with legal knowledge in their top management. However, since most traditional law programs did not offer managerial skills to their students, an industry demand was created for law professionals, who can solve business problems as well and be part of top management roles in various sectors. To cater to this growing need for a combination of a law degree with management, the 5-year Integrated BBA-LL.B (Hons) program was designed, which allows students to choose from 4 different Honours Groups in their 4th academic year:

  1. Business Law: Taxation, Insolvency and Bankruptcy, Mergers and Acquisitions, Banking Law

  2. Intellectual Property Law: Copyrights, Patent, Trademark and other subjects

  3. Dispute Resolution Law: International Arbitration, Mediation, Negotiation and other subjects

  4. Constitutional Law: Comparative Constitutional Law, Service Law, Election Laws and other subjects
