Dr BR Ambedkar Open University (BRAOU) Result 2022 has been released for UG, PG, B.Ed & M.Ed Semester Exams on the university's official exam website at braou.ac.in. As per the BRAOU Result 2022 released, applicants who appeared for the examination can check and download their result status by logging onto the university's website, and clicking the result link available under the notification section. 

BRAOU follows the CBSC, Choice Based Credit System, in order to mark the answer sheet of applicants. Under the CBSC marking scheme, applicants have the flexibility to choose the course of their choice. The grading system of BRAOU begins from grade letter F (Fail) from the bottom to A+(Excellent), and the highest letter grade O (outstanding). How to Check BRAOU Result 2022?

• BRAOU announces the results for the examination conducted on its official website. The candidates require their hall ticket number to access the results from the website. One may follow these steps to check their result:
• Go to the BRAOU Online Portal.
• In the main menu, click on ‘Examination’ tab followed by a click on the Relevant Course link.
• On the next page,
  • Enter your Admission Number, Semester, Spell and click Submit – In case of UG Results.
  • Enter your Admission Number, CAPTCHA Code prompted by the website and Click Submit – In case of PG Results.
  • Enter your Hall Ticket Number and click submit – In the case of M.Phil/Ph.D. Entrance Test Results.
• Download and Save the BRAOU Result Copy for future reference.

BRAOU Revaluation/ Rechecking 2022

BRAOU University offers a Revaluation application procedure online mode at the official website of the university. Candidates can log in using their details and fill the application form for the subject which they have doubts that they could have scored fairer than allotted. Follow the steps mentioned below:

• Click on the official website of the university
• Click on the “Revaluation” tab
• Enter the last 7 digits of the Admission Number
• Select the Semester and enter the correct image captcha
• Submit it. The webpage will lead to the candidate's login ID
• Enter the details of the subject candidate who wants to apply for revaluation/ re-totalling and pay the application form online. 
• Click on submit and take a hard copy print of the application form. Submit the hardcopy with the fee remittance proof at the registrar office of the university. 

BRAOU Grading/ Marking Scheme 2022

BRAOU follows the Choice Based Credit System (CBCS) as the marking scheme for its academic year. It includes Core courses, Electives, Ability Enhancement Courses and Language-Specific Courses. The Core courses are compulsory courses that are necessary to be in the program curriculum. Under CBCS, students are given the flexibility to choose the courses as per their preference. Students need to secure a total of 160 credits to pass the program. The Grading Scale of BRAOU for its subject evaluation is given by the table:

The End-Semester Examination consists of 3 sections of Question Paper:

1. Section - A: Short Questions (consists of 10 short questions out of which the students are required to answer five questions. Each question carries four marks( 5 x 4= 20 Marks).
2. Section - B: Essay Questions (consists of 5 essay type questions and each question carries 12 marks ( 5 x 12=60 marks). 
3. Section - C: Objective type Questions (consists of 10 multiple choice where each question carries One Mark (20 x 1=20 marks). There is no choice in this Section.)

The Exam Duration is three hours. Subjects who have Practicals have 5 credits; 4 credits for theory and one credit for practical. Out of the total score allotted, 20 marks are allotted to practical exams and 80 marks for End-Semester Theory Examination.

BRAOU Exam Schedule 2022

BRAOU has divided its curriculum into two parts and conducts the exam twice in a year. The two parts are called spells i.e. Spell-1 and Spell-2. The examination for spell-1 is conducted in the month of November while the examination for Spell-2 is conducted in the month of May.

Students also need to fill an examination form in order to become eligible to appear for examinations. The form can be filled online from BRAOU Online which is the university’s official examination portal. Along with the form filling procedure, the students will also have to pay a stipulated BRAOU Exam Fees in order to complete the registration process.
