We focus on holistic development of our students

We try to provide a globalised way of teaching and invite our International partners to run short term courses for our students. Apart from their curriculum, students have a number of opportunities to excel in extension activities and the various clubs promote their skills in dance, debate, drama, quiz etc.

We revise our curriculum to match up with the pace of industry standards

Many programs offer On the Job Training and Internships. The curriculum is constantly revised and updated. We make sure we follow the best practice of Industry through consistent revision of curricula.

The factor of diversity plays a crucial role where the learning from different aspects can be brought in the picture

We already provide generous scholarships to the economically challenged students. The college has always welcomed students from diverse backgrounds and takes pride in its diverse student body. We also have faculty from different states of India.

I firmly believe in participative leadership style

Participative leadership where we are a team moving ahead with shared ideals and vision. This is my firm belief. Involving staff in decision making is very crucial in the decision making process and a shared vision is needed for the betterment of the institute in the long run.

A conducive environment helps students to nurture their skills and provides a comfort where they can grow

The college has a brand name and this is an area which does not bother us. It is one of the oldest and most known colleges in the city. We aim to provide a conducive ambience which will help students achieve their full potential so that they get a complete, meaningful and relevant education, which makes them intellectually well-trained, morally upright, socially aware and spiritually inspired, which incidentally is the mission of the college.

We want students to understand the crux of the problem and work on it

We are targeting more research and consultancy. The students will be asked to work on societal issues through whatever course they have opted. We would want to provide consultancy services too to private as well as public institutions. We often encourage students with internships and other modes of training to understand the problem at a much deeper level in order to provide solutions for it. More research opportunities when they get involved will help them solve problems. This would be my priority for the next 10 years.

The education today should emphasize to make students into good human beings

The important challenge that I observe these days is that higher education pays more attention to domain knowledge alone. Development of character and integrity is largely ignored. Thus, we try to bring in an all-round approach where we try to bring in holistic development and make our students a better resource for the nation.

Our stakeholders’ beliefs are of paramount importance to us

By being transparent in all procedures we build trust. We consciously involve everyone on campus in various decision making processes. This gives every stakeholder of our institution a sense of unity. Also, it helps them realize the confidence we have in them. This helps us in building a healthy and optimistic environment in our institute.
