What are the key factors that keep you connected with the education sector?

“Education is the engine for the development and progress of any country”

I have had an opportunity to be associated with the education sector for over three decades. Education, in fact, is the engine for development and progress of any country. Several landmarks have been established in this higher education sector in the country in the recent pastI find that the education industry is best to work in because it chisels to shape the future of the students to make them employable. I have, over the years, made the future of my students and several of them are serving diverse sectors of academia and industry and contributing to the cause of nation-building.

What is your philosophy of leadership? How would you describe your leadership style?

“My style of leadership is leading by example of translating vision into action”

A leader is the one who knows, goes and shows the apt way. I believe that real education motivates you to keep your vision in front of you all the time. I firmly believe that the world is full of great ideas, but success comes only through action. The combo of 5Ds: diligence, determination, dedication, discipline, and devotion, coupled with sincerity and promptness, is indeed vital for the philosophy of leadership.

The innovation provides vitality to the task in hand. It helps to make it ‘out of box’. I also believe that in the current era mediocrity has no place, only excellence matters.
