CAT 2020 Convenor Rejects Exam Postponement News; Read Details Here


Exam Convener of IIM CAT 2020, Professor Harshal Lowalekar has rejected all false news about a possible postponement of the exams in the wake of COVID-19 pandemic.

Of late, several social media platforms were trending with the news of postponing Common Admission Test (CAT) 2020. However, when enquired, Professor clearly stated that the exam will be held on the scheduled date of November 29.

CAT 2020 Includes Revised Exam Pattern 

As the conducting body, IIM Indore has brought about some prominent changes in the exam pattern for CAT 2020. The total duration of exams has been reduced to 2 hours from the original 3 hours exams. However, there is no clarity in the total number of questions to be asked yet.

Earlier, Prof Lowalekar stated that aspirants need to focus more on their preparation and that IIM Indore will not reveal the number of questions that will be asked, this time.

IIM Indore issues News Guidelines for Exam Day

As IIM Indore is about to conduct CAT amid a pandemic, the institute has laid down some significant steps and guidelines to be followed by exam centres, officials and aspirants alike.

This includes wearing masks, carrying sanitiser bottles (personal) and maintaining enough social distancing as mandates among the many. Read More
