DAVV Placement 2020: Two Girls offered highest package of 16 LPA, Details here

September 30, 2020: Amidst the pandemic, two female students of Devi Ahilya Vishwavidyalaya (DAVV) Institute of Engineering and Technology (IET) have received the placement deal package of 16 Lakh per annum. 

The DAVV Institute of Engineering and Technology placement took place within the first section of the digital campus placement drive for the year 2020-2021. DAVV organized a 100% digital campus placement drive for its latest batch. 

A total of 200 students of the DAVV Institute of Engineering and Technology have been placed under different placements in the first placement drive section.

DAVV Placement 2020: Placement Analysis

DAVV Centralised Placement Cell Coordinator DR Nitin Nagar said," Last year, overall 84 candidates were placed in nine core companies and this year over 18 core companies had come and around 197 candidates were placed in those".

He further stated that DAVV placement drive aims to offer students with positions in core firms to a minimum of 100 students of the university. The recruiters and core firms of placement drive have a package deal of over 8 Lakh every year.

For the year 2020, the first section of the placement drive was started in June. But due to the coronavirus pandemic and subsequent lockdown, the drive was postponed to August 2020.

The second placement drive will begin in October the first week with mass recruiters. Students from different programs of the college will be participating in the placement drive such as BE, ME, MSc, MTech, and many others.

The placement drive of DAVV Institute of Engineering and Technology has been carried out through digital means. The placement coordinators have been making sure that the interview is going through with the digital etiquette of the interview.
