• Shortlisted candidates need to pay the academic fee of INR 112000 to confirm their seats till Nov 2, 2021.
• JAC Delhi Counselling round 2 registration and choice editing window will open from Nov 5, 2021. 
• The counseling process is held in online mode and is based purely on the scores of JEE Main Paper 1 for B.Tech and BE admission and JEE Main Paper 2 scores for B.Arch admission. 
• Joint Admission Counselling (JAC) is conducted for admission in B.Tech/ BE/ B.Arch courses offered by the five institutes- DTU, NSUT, IIIT-D, and IGDTUW, and DSEU.
• Also, the official website has been launched on September 17, 2021, for JAC Delhi Counselling 2021. JAC Delhi 2021 Spot Round of Admissions will be held in online mode.

JAC Delhi Counselling 2021: Participating Colleges

JAC Delhi is the counseling process conducted for admission to 5 state-level institutes of Delhi. Candidates here are admission to BE/ B.Tech and B.Arch programs. For admission to BE and B.Tech program, the merit of JEE Main Paper-1 is considered and for admission to B.Arch, the merit of JEE Main Paper-2 is considered. Institutes that participate in JAC Delhi 2021 are:

• Delhi Technical University (DTU): B.Tech

• Indira Gandhi Delhi Technical University for Women (IGDTUW): B.Tech and B.Arch

• Indraprastha Institute of Information Technology, Delhi (IIIT-D): B.Tech

• Netaji Subhas Institute of Technology (NSIT): B.E.

JAC Delhi Counselling 2021: Eligibility Criteria

JAC Delhi 2021 eligibility criteria differ for Delhi region candidates and Outside Delhi region candidates. In NSUT, DTU, IIIT-D, and IGDTUW admission are given based on the merit of JEE Main Paper-1. Admission to B.Arch in IGDTUW is given based on CRL rank in JEE Main Paper-2. We have mentioned the region-wise and college-wise eligibility below:

For Delhi Candidates

Candidates who are residents of the National Capital Territory or have passed the qualifying examination from a recognized school/ institute/ college within this region are considered a candidate of the Delhi region. For Delhi region candidates 85% of seats are reserved.

For Outside Delhi Candidates

Candidates who have passed the Intermediate or equivalent qualifying examination from a recognized school outside the National Capital Region of Delhi are considered outside Delhi candidates. For such candidates 15% of seats are available.

In addition to this, there are additional eligibility criteria for the candidates based on their category:

5% of seats are available for PwD and defense candidates in each of the above categories.

JAC Delhi Counselling 2021: Eligibility Criteria for B.Tech in NSUT, IGDTUW, and DTU

Candidates with a minimum of 60% or more aggregate in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics and who have passed English as a subject of study at the Senior School Certificate Examination Level and have passed JEE Main Paper-1 are considered eligible for admission to B.Tech course in these colleges. There is no upper age limit for the candidates for admission.

For B.Tech in IIIT-D

Candidates with a minimum of 80% or more aggregate in best of five subjects including Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics, and 80% or more in Mathematics in the qualifying examination who have qualified JEE Main Paper-1 2021 are considered eligible to get admission to B.Tech program in IIIT-D. There is no upper age limit for the candidates.

For B.Arch in IGDTUW

Candidates with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks in Chemistry, Physics, and Mathematics or have passed 10+2 examination with a minimum of 50% aggregate or have passed 10+3 Diploma examination with Mathematics as compulsory subject with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks are eligible to get admission. For admission to the B.Arch program, the score of JEE 2021 Main Paper-2 will be considered. There is no upper age limit for the candidates to get admission in IGDTUW.

JAC Delhi Counselling 2021: Application Form

• JAC Delhi 2021 application is available at the official website –  jacdelhi.nic.in.
• The application process for JAC Delhi Counselling includes registration, fee payment, choice locking, and application submission.
• Candidates are required to pay a non-refundable fee of INR1500. the submission of the fee will be initiated by providing the given detail: JEE Main Roll Number, Mobile Number, email id.

JAC Delhi 2021 Counselling Process

JAC Delhi 2021 counseling is a four-round online process. The counseling will be conducted for admission in DTU, IGDTUW, IIIT-D, and NSUT based on the merit of JEE Main 2021. The result of seat allotment after each round will be released by the concerned authorities. However, the document verification is done offline and candidates are required to report at the allotted institute for admission. To confirm the admission candidates must pay Rs.95,000 at the institute and book the seat. Also, candidates have the choice to apply for seat up-gradation if they are not satisfied with their allotted seats.

These are the steps involved in the JAC Delhi 2021 counseling:

• Visit the website of JAC and register online while making the registration-cum-counseling fee payment.

• Select the seat and enter choices as per your preference

• Candidates can change, delete, add new choices, and re-order their choices until the last date of counseling

• Seats are allotted based on the merit and availability of seats

• Once it’s done candidates must take the provisional admission letter and report at the allotted institute.

• For the remaining seat spot, counseling will be conducted

• Candidates can participate in spot round counseling by paying the fee of Rs 10,000

• Special counseling is also conducted for a vacant seat after spot round counseling
