IBSAT 2020 is an important computer-based MBA entrance test conducted online across India by ICFAI Foundation for Higher Education. It is tipped to be the gateway to MBA/PGPM 2021-23 at 9 campuses of ICFAI Business School. IBSAT 2020 Application forms will be out tentatively from July 2020.

• The exam will be conducted in December 2020 in an online mode.

• Candidates of any age can appear for IBSAT 2020 i.e. there is no age limit.

• To be eligible you must be a graduate with 50% marks or a post graduate with 55% of the marks.

• There are 4 sections in the exam, with a total of 140 questions to be attempted in 2 hours duration.

The official notification of IBSAT 2020 is not out yet. Below are the tentative dates based on past analysis of IBSAT.

IBSAT 2020 : Application Form

IBSAT 2020 Application forms are available in both offline and online mode.

For offline mode:  Candidates can purchase the application form from the marketing offices of IBS by paying the application fee.

For Online mode: Candidates first need to register at the official website of IBS with a valid name and mobile no. Post that you need to enter the academic details and upload photo and signature. At last you need to pay the fee online and submit the application.

Application fee

• The application fee for IBSAT 2020 is INR 1800/-. 

• Those filling out the application form online, can pay the application fee via Credit card/ Debit Card/ Net banking.

• If you choose the offline mode, you need to purchase the form from IBS Marketing offices by paying INR 1800/-.

Note: There is no relaxation in the fee for any reserved category candidate.

IBSAT 2020 : Eligibility Criteria 

Before filling the application form for IBSAT 2020, candidates are advised to check their eligibility for the same.

Age Limit 

There is no age limit to apply for IBSAT 2020. That means candidate of any age can appear for the exam.

Nationality 

Candidate should be a citizen of India to appear for IBSAT 2020.

Academic Qualification for 2 year Management Program

• Candidate must hold a bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a recognized university with minimum 50% marks in aggregate. The medium of education should be English.

• Candidate with Non-English medium Bachelor’s degree, will have to submit IELTS/TOEFL/NELT score.

• Candidates in final year of graduation can also apply for IBSAT 2020.

• Candidate must make sure that they have completed 15 years of education (10+2+3 or 10+2+4).

• A valid NMAT/ GMAT/ CAT Score is sufficient to participate in IBSAT Selection Process 2020.

Academic Qualification for PhD Management

• Candidate must hold a bachelor’s degree with 50% marks and a post graduation in Management (full time with a specialization in Marketing/ Finance / Human Resource Management/ Operations) from a UGC approved University with 55% and above marks 

OR

• Post Graduation in Economics, Commerce, Psychology, Sociology, Public Administration, Statistics, Mathematics, or in any allied discipline from a UGC recognized university in India or abroad with 55% or above marks. Candidates who are offered admission have to undertake the first year MBA courses as a prerequisite to continue in the PhD program

OR

• A professional qualification like CFA / CA / CWA / CS with 55% aggregate marks or above

Academic Qualification for PhD in Economics

• Graduation with 50% aggregate and above marks AND Post Graduation in Economics or allied discipline with 55% aggregate and above marks.

• Candidate should have completed 17 years of education (10+2+3+2 or 10+2+4+2)

• Candidate with Non-English medium Bachelor’s degree, will have to submit IELTS/TOEFL/NELT score.

IBSAT 2020 : Exam Pattern

IBSAT 2020 will be conducted in online mode only. There are a total of 140 questions that has to be attempted in 2 hours.

IBSAT 2020 Marking Scheme 

• 1 mark will be awarded for each right answer. 

• There is no provision for negative marking.

IBSAT 2020 : Result and Cutoff

IBSAT 2020 Result will be declared in online mode after the completion of the exam. After the declaration of the result, the participating colleges release their cutoffs.
