IIT Kharagpur will organize JEE Advanced 2021 on October 3, 2021. JEE Advanced 2021 results will be published on 15 October 2021. After the publication of results, the scorecards will be released and will mention the rank and score obtained by the candidate. The most searched question of JEE Advanced aspirants is the rank they will secure on the basis of their score. Students will be assigned JEE Advanced 2021 ranks based on their performance in the entrance exam. Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) will be in charge of conducting the centralized JEE Advanced 2021 counselling and seat allocation process. The online registration for JEE Advanced 2021 counselling will begin on October 16, 2021. JEE Advanced qualified and eligible applicants must register and fill out their course and college choices within the time frame provided. JEE Advanced Previous Year Rank Analysis

  • In JEE Advanced 2020, a total of 1,60,838 applicants took both papers 1 and 2. Around 43,204 candidates qualified for JEE Advanced 2020. Out of which 6,707 females were the qualifying candidates.
  • JEE Advanced Topper Chirag Falor (AIR 1) scored 352 out of 396.
  • In 2020, the lowest number of candidates applied for JEE advanced in the past three years.
  • Only 28.64 % out of the total candidates manage to clear JEE Advanced 2020.
  • No women made their place in the list of Top 10 of JEE Advanced 2020.
  • Kanishka Mittal, from the IIT Roorkee zone, is the first woman to make it to the list with CRL 17.
  • In the SC category, 7852 candidates passed the exam, 9195 in the OBC category, and 2811 in the ST category.
  • In the general category, 17823 students passed the exam to get admission to IITs, while 5087 students from the EWS category qualified.

Tie-Breaking Criteria in JEE Advanced 2021

  • In the event that two or more applicants receive the same score on the JEE Advanced 2021 exam, the following tie-breaking rule will be used to determine the rank list.
  • Candidates who score higher on the positive scale will be granted a higher ranking.
  • If the tie persists, the candidate with the higher Mathematics score will be given higher priority.
  • If there is still a tie, the candidates with the better Physics score will be given a higher rank.
  • Finally, if the tie remains, the applicants will be assigned the same rank.
