FTII Introduces New Course of Still Photography


The Film and Television Institute of India (FTII) has announced to start a new course in still photography with an intake of 25 students. The last date to apply for the course is September 21, 2020.

The admission to the new course by FTII is on a first-come-first-serve basis. The guide for the course will be Bharat Kanhere, department of cinematography who is a renowned professional in the field of Photography and Films.

The duration of the Still photography course is 2 months and the sessions for the same will start from September 26 and will continue till December 6. 

As per the announcement by FTII, the classes for the course will be conducted only on Saturdays and Sundays.

While the platform for the weekend classes will be Google classrooms with English as the medium of teaching. Candidates of any field can apply for the course as no degree knowledge is required to apply for this course.

  • The prospective candidate must click on the FTII fees account.
  • Click on the desired course ‘Writing for Television Fiction and Web Series’.
  • Pay the amount for the course, take a SS of the same for the future reference. Take out a print of the payment receipt.
  • The instructions will be mentioned on the official website of ‘SBI Bank Collect’
