The Film and Television Institute of India (FTII) has introduced an online course on Basic Visual Storytelling Course via audio-video, photographs, and texts.
Interested students can apply on the official website of FTII and the last date to register is June 23, 2020. The online course will commence from June 29, 2020 to July 3, 2020.
The Basic Visual Storytelling course will be conducted by the faculty members- Dr. Tabeenah Anjum and Ritesh Taksande. The selection will be done on the first come first serve basis.

FTII Basic Visual Storytelling Course: Eligibility Criteria
- To apply for the course candidate should be 16 years or above age as on June 1, 2020.
- Candidate must be 10th passout.
Since the course is online, there are some mandatory requirements laid down by FTII:
- Any good quality electronic device through which photographs can be taken &HD Videos can be recorded.
- A Desktop / Laptop having minimum 8 GB RAM, 1.6 GHz or better processor (Intel i3 or i5 or better). (Windows / MAC)
- Operating system: a) Windows 7 or 8 or 10. b) MAC OS Sierra or later
- Audio – Video software: Latest versions of VLC player, Windows Media Player or Quicktime Player.
- Compatible good quality headphones/ earphones with mic
- Compatible HD webcam
- Internet pack of minimum 5 GB per day exclusively for this course. It is recommended to have fixed wired Internet connection with minimum speed of 10 Mbps or more.
- Web browser: Latest version of Google Chrome (Preferred), Firefox, Internet Explorer, Safari.
FTII clearly mentions that use of mobile phones instead of laptop/desktop is strictly prohibited.
