IMED Digital Hub Helps Faculty and Students Upgrade their Skills

The Institute of Management and Entrepreneurship Development (IMED) organized around 60 webinars and workshops on a variety of subjects so that the students and the staff could upgrade their knowledge and skills through the IMED Digital Hub. A number of free courses were also organized.

Sachin Vernekar, the Dean of the Faculty of Management Sciences, Bharati Vidyapeeth Deemed University, said, “ We utilized the period to upgrade knowledge and skills. Webinars of HR, COVID-19, behavioural skills, cybersecurity, artificial intelligence, online marketing, stress management, innovation and creativity and others were held.”

3,500 students and faculty from Bharati Vidyapeeth registered for online courses offered by institutions like Harvard, Massachusetts Institute of Technology, IIT Bombay, IBM and so on, offered by IMED via edX.

After completing the course, the students will get a course and assessment completion certification from the relevant institution, according to Vernekar.
