ICAI CA November Exam 2020 will not be postponed, Check Details


The ICAI has issued a validated elucidation concerning the postponement of its CA November 2020 exam. 

The concerned authorities have made it clear that no further postponement of exams due to COVID-19 can be entertained. So the students enrolled for the May cycle shall appear in the November exam cycle.

The exam shall be done and it will be held as per the pre-decided schedule. As the institute has decided to merge the may exam with the November cycle.

This explanation was a forerunner of a formal meeting between ICAI President and Rajya Sabha MP, Subhramanyyam Swamy who approached the institute to get the CA Exam 2020 postponed following requests made by several CA Aspirants.

The students took this issue to the social media and expressed their unwillingness to appear for the exam demanding postponement for the same. The students are expecting good management from the institute's side.

Swamy speaks to the ICAI President

Ensuring the appeal from CA Aspirants who are due to appear for the November CA Exam 2020, Rajya Sabha Member, Subramanyam Swamy spoke to the ICAI president Atul Kumar Gupta representing the concern of the aspirants for the Nov. 2020 Exam.

Although in the meeting president Atul Kumar made it clear to the leader that no further postponement in the date of the ICAI November 2020 will take place.

Thereafter the meeting, Mr Swamy shared a tweet from his official account saying, “I Spoke to the president of ICAI today on the possibility of postponing the CA Examination. He explained that an examination committee had taken the decision and he saw no way how he could intervene in the committee decision. Hence I can take this no further .”

CA Exam scheduled to be held in November

In accordance with the official schedule released by the examination authority, ICAI CA Exam 2020 will be held in Nov. 2020. The exam for all the levels i.e. Foundation, Intermediate, and Final, will be conducted from 1st to 18th November 2020.

Pursuant to the announcement made by the institute, the CA exam will be conducted in 207 cities across India and in five cities abroad. 

With the rising concern for the safety of students during the exam, the institution has decided to open additional exam centres to facilitate social distancing across the country for CA Exam 2020. The exam shall be conducted in offline mode.
