ICSI signs MoU with Bharathiar University for Academic Collaboration; Details Here


December 16, 2020: Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI) has collaborated with Bharathiar University under the “ICSI Academic Collaborations” initiative. 

As per the ICSI statement released on December 14, 2020, the aim of the MoU signed between ICSI, and Bharathiar University is to put together the efforts for imparting knowledge and honoring skillful students, academicians, and professionals of both the institutions.

On December 13, an online panel discussion was conducted on the topic ‘Strategic Plan for Implementation of NEP in Universities and Professional Institutes’ which was later followed by signing of Memorandum of Understanding (MoU).

ICSI President CS Ashish Garg stated that this collaboration would not just help in encouraging strong relationships between the two partner institutes but would also help in advancing executive education programs.

Bharathiar University Vice-chancellor Dr. P Kaliraj shared his happiness on joining hands with ICSI and stated that this collaboration will not only assist in progressing the skills by advancing the curriculum but will also enhance the character of students.

Indian Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI) is a statutory professional body in India with the aim of regulating, promoting, and developing the profession of company secretaries in India. 

Additionally, a candidate can only apply for ICSI membership if he/ she has cleared all three levels of examinations i.e. CSEET (Early foundation), Executive, and Professional prescribed by ICSI, and has completed the short-term and long-term practical training.
