Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) has launched the certificate programme in Mobile Application Development Course (CMAD) through Open and Distance Learning Mode.
Offered by School of Computers and Information Sciences (SOCIS) of IGNOU, the duration of course is 6 months.IGNOU released an information brochure with Eligibility, Fee Details, Admission Criteria and Detailed Course Structure.
Candidates who intend to take admission in the certificate course can apply before September 30, 2020. University’s main aim to launch this course is to provide students a scope to learn Mobile Application Development through ODL Mode.

As per the official notice, “Each course will have two components Assignment and Term End Examination respectively. If the course is having only Theory Counseling Sessions, then there will be two components, namely, Assignment and Term End Examination (Theory).
If the Course is having only Practical Counseling Sessions, then there will be two components, namely, Assignment, Term End Examination (Practical)".

Certificate Programme in Mobile Application Development (CMAD): An Overview
IGNOU facilitates the credit system for all of its programmes in order to be eligible to appear for the term end examination.
Each credit requires 30 hours of study. Therefore, Students have to earn 16 Credits over a period of 6 months to successfully pass the examination.
As per the official notice, every course will have two components namely, Assignments and Term End Examination.
