Indira Gandhi National Open University will begin the IGNOU Term End Exams from September 17, 2020. The university will only hold exams for final semester or year students in September.
As expected, IGNOU date sheet for June TEE 2020 has been released on September 2, 2020, just 15 days before the exam commences.
IGNOU has also issued detailed instruction on term-end exams on its official website (ignou.ac.in). As per the latest updates, exams for first and second years will be conducted in December 2020.

Earlier, IGNOU, New Delhi, announced that the release date for the IGNOU Hall Ticket 2020 and Term End Examinations (TEE) 2020 will be delayed. However, it was expected that IGNOU TEE June date sheet and hall ticket are likely to be published by the first week of September.

Official Notice: IGNOU TEE June 2020 for Final Year Students
This shows IGNOU has given the utmost priority to final year/semester students to sit for exams. The university has also offered an alternative option for students of the final year. In case they fail to attend the September exams, they are permitted to attend in December along with first and second-year batches.

As per official data, over 3 lakh students will take the IGNOU final year exams across 900 centres in the country. Earlier, IGNOU TEE 2020 June was scheduled to be held from 1-27 June that got subsequently postponed due to Coronavirus outbreak in the country.

Hence, as exams are about to begin, students are advised to carry their student ID and hall ticket on the exam date at the venue. As per the official directives, all these recent improvisations have been made in view of the COVID-19 pandemic.
Note: IGNOU re-registration deadline for July 2020 session has been extended till September 15.
