IIM Bangalore to Host Eximius 2020 on October 17 & 18; Check Event Details Here


Students of the Indian Institute of Management Bangalore will organize Eximius 2020, India’s largest entrepreneurship summit for the first time on October 17 and 18. The event will be held online.

Eximus is held every year with vivid highlights. The event aims at celebrating entrepreneurship culture and promoting entrepreneurial skills and talent among the participants. IIM-Bangalore is all set to host the event and has planned various activities.

The event will witness 20+ competitions, 25+ speaker sessions, workshops, fireside chats, product demonstrations by start-ups among various other blistering highlights. The talks and discussions will revolve around topics including strategy, start-up fundraising, IPO pitch, public policy, product management, business idea pitches, etc.

Authorities have planned this year’s theme as ‘Get Set Disrupt’. The theme insists on budding entrepreneurs who changed and broke the ecosystem by initializing start-ups rather than following traditional career pathways.

The event will witness various prominent industry experts and entrepreneurs. The major figures in the function will include Suresh Prabhu, Member of the Rajya Sabha; Kiran Mazumdar, Chairperson, Biocon; Karan Bajaj, Founder, White Hat Jr; Chandrashekhar Ghosh, Founder, MD and CEO, Bandhan Bank; Dhiraj Rajaram, CEO, Mu Sigma; and Samina Bano, Founder, Rightwalk Foundation among many others.

Apart from discussions by such professionals, famous comedian Kenny Sebastian will also add shine to the event.

There are various competitions and programs planned for the audience. Pitcher Perfect, similar to Shark Tank will be initiated for the entrepreneurs for new ideas and development. A program, named start-up junction will also be conducted in the summit to provide a platform for new startups to set their offering and pitch before the investors and specialists. 

Amidst the various business events, IIM-B students have also reserved a social initiative event. A special and unique event for this year’s summit is ‘Social Pact’. In this event, various business entities will direct their CSR funds towards the upliftment of NGOs.

The event is open for people to attend. People from all domains and backgrounds are invited to attend this year’s Eximus event.
