New Delhi: The Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Trichy has partnered up with financial service provider TVS Credit Services Limited with the aim to design new solutions for promoting financial inclusion in India.
The partnership is to provide a path to leverage collective talent and expertise from both IIM Trichy and TVS Credit Services for product development, knowledge creation and research in the fields of management and public policy.
While discussing the collaboration, Venkatraman G, the Chief Executive Officer, TVS Credit explained how the MoU is to create a solid foundation for future collaboration between the two institutes. This is also related to how TVS Credit has been successfully empowering people across various sectors in fulfilling their own aspirations.
“It has been a constant endeavour of TVS Credit to steer industry growth and national development by encouraging product innovation and nurturing young talent. The outcomes from such initiatives will help us drive organisational growth and serve our customers and the nation better for years to come. The collaboration will help boost innovation, R&D, and help in designing new solutions to promote financial inclusion in the country”, he further added.

IIM Trichy and TVS Credit Collaboration Possible Impact:
The primary aim of this collaboration is to design, develop and deliver cutting-edge technological solutions in the areas of management and financial inclusion. Here is a few of what the collaboration is expected to bring forth:
-The partnered institution is to create an ecosystem between professional industries, academia and Government agencies
-They are to leverage analytics and technology
-They are to provide the solutions in terms of consultations, research projects, placements, case studies and management development programmes
-The first beneficiaries of this initiative will obviously be the TVS Credit employees and the students of IIM Trichy. Additionally, it is also expected to offer help to the NBFC sector by improving resource efficiency and productivity
