IIT Hyderabad to host online conference on Work From Home for HR Professionals


Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Hyderabad has announced that the Department of Liberal Arts will host an online conference on May 30 for the employees of the Human Resource professionals on “Employee Engagement and Welfare in New Normal of Work From Home, Post COVID-19.”

The online conference has been scheduled from 10:30 in the morning till 12 o'clock in the afternoon on this Saturday.

Associate Professor M.P. Ganesh of the Department of Liberal Arts, IIT Hyderabad said that this online conference is an initiative to bring all the specialists and practitioners from different fields to discuss the challenges related to work from home culture, which has now become a prevalent and inevitable phenomenon in this COVID-19 situation.

He also added that the effect of work from home will certainly remain even after the things get stabilized, thus it is important to discuss the challenges being faced by different practitioners so that a conclusion can be drawn about the way ahead.

As key speakers, the conference will feature Bindu Venkatesh, V.P-Human Resource, Oracle India; Rajiv Noronha, VP and Head HR, TCS; Ravi Modali, Lifestyle Medicine and Digital Health Expert and Dr. Jayavelu, Dean(School and Business), VIT AP.
