Indian Institute of Technology, Roorkee has inked an MoU with the fast-growing online learning platform Eckovation. The institute is planning on providing executive courses for their students with the help of Eckovation to upskill the work.
The Mou was signed between IIT Roorkee dean Manish Shrikhande, Industrial Consultancy and Sponsored Research, Founder and Eckovation Chief Technical officer Akshat Goel, and.
Both the organizations are entitled to undertake the collaboration in consultancy work, research, development, joint publications, and cooperate in projects and research activities of mutual interest.

The MoU with Eckovation is a forward step by the University towards enabling learning to provide online education to their students. Covid-19 has prompted a reassessment of the existing supply chain.
The courses are designed specially to help mitigate risks and address uncertainties" stated professor Ajit K Chaturvedi, the director of IIT Roorkee.
Two E-Learning Courses Launched By IIT Roorkee on Eckovation
Indian Institute of Technology, Roorkee has also launched two major online courses for students namely- ‘Advanced Certification Program in Cybersecurity’ and ‘Professional Certification in Supply Chain Management & Analytics’.
The actions are taken by the Department of Computer Science, E-learning center, and Department of Management Studies of IIT Roorkee.

The courses will have in-depth knowledge about theoretical concepts and practical applications of the subject. The course will also provide students with real-life projects such as a 3-day immersion module at Noida or Roorkee campus of the University.
After the successful completion of the program, students will receive awards, certificates, and Placement assistance by Eckovation based on their overall performance.
The courses provided by the university will be of six months duration. They will be taught by the highly skilled and educated faculty members of the institute on E-learning platform-Eckovation.
According to the student's academic record, abilities, and relevant work experience, the university will also provide them with a scholarship of INR 50,000.
