IPU Final-Year Exams to be Held in September, Datesheet to be Released Today

Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University (GGSIPU) has released the timetable for the final-year examinations. According to sources, IPU has released a notice on their website which says that the IPU Examination for final-year students will be held in the fourth week of September, according to UGC guidelines.

IPU is due to issue the detailed date sheet for the final-year examinations on 11 September.

According to the official notice on the website, “The End Term Exams September 2020 for final semester students will commence in the 4th week of September and the proposed datasheets for the exams will be uploaded on the university website on September 11.”

Candidates who are due to take the examination are advised to check the official website of IPU for further updates. The examination will be held in pen-and-paper mode across several centres. Only those colleges which are affiliated with IPU and are located in Delhi NCR will act as examination centres.

Recently, the Supreme Court had gone in favour of the UGC guidelines issued in July and directed all universities to hold final-year examinations by the end of September.

The notice ends with the statement, “The above examinations would be conducted following the norms of social distancing and other guidelines of the government of Delhi/ Central Government/ UGC and Statutory bodies.”
