There was a rising concern for JEE Main exam dates clashing with board practical exams. Speaking about JEE Main 2021 exam dates clashing with board practicals of CBSE 2021 Class 12, he said: ”We will ensure that practical exams do not coincide with JEE Main exam.”

Additionally, of late, Pokhriyal had asked the National Testing Agency (NTA) to discuss with state boards in releasing a final syllabus for the entrance exams. This is owing to the fact that CBSE Class 12 syllabus has been reduced by 30%.
