JEE Main 2021: NTA Takes Down JEE Main Information Bulletin; Registration to Not Begin on December 15 (today)


In a recent update from the NTA this evening, the registration announcement for JEE Main 2021 and information bulletin has been taken down from the agency’s official website. 

The National Testing Agency (NTA) had previously announced the exam schedule for JEE Main 2021 as well as the brochure for the exam on its official website earlier today, December 15. This was however followed by the removal of both the announcements from the website at 7:00 pm in the evening.

As per the information brochure released earlier, the NTA had scheduled to conduct the JEE Main 2021 four times, once each in February, March, April, and May. There is no official update regarding the exam dates yet.

The brochure also stated that the registration process was to begin today and last up to January 15, 2021. It was also announced that the exam will be set in 13 regional languages to avoid language barriers. 

Upon taking down the official announcement from the website, the education ministry stated that "no decision has been made on JEE Main dates yet". The NTA also denied the reports that suggested that the exam dates have been released.
