Lucknow University Provisional Merit List 2020: What Happens in Case of a Tie?
Candidates can check it to get the idea of a tie-breaker situation. If two or more candidates have earned an equivalent mark/rank in the merit index, the merit for admission shall be determined as follows:
- In such cases, if the marks secured in the entrance test are the same, the first preference will be given to a candidate who obtains a higher percentage of marks at high school or an equivalent examination.
- If the marks obtained at the High School or the equivalent examination are the same, the priority will be given to the older candidate in that case.
