Madras University has officially announced the dates for the UG Final Semester Exams 2020. As per the recently released scheduled by the varsity, the final year exams for UG students would be held from 21st to 30th September 2020.
Following the announcement of the examination schedule, Madras University has urged all the affiliated colleges to start making preliminary preparations to hold the exams in accordance with the dates.
Along with this, the varsity has also released a detailed circular stating the details about the UG and PG exam dates.

Exam to be Conducted in Offline/ Pen-Paper Mode in Tamil Nadu
The circular released by the varsity state that the final year exams will be held in offline/pen-paper format for candidates residing in the state.
While for the candidates who are currently outside the Tamil Nadu state would be appearing for the exams in online mode
The varsity will be releasing the detailed notification with complete details about format, mode and time details on 9th September 2020.
Online Exam Option for Students in Containment Zones, Other States
The varsity will also provide the option of online exams to students who are currently residing outside the state and to students who are currently living in containment zones or are under home quarantine.
As per the circular passed by the varsity, for availing this option, candidates will have to make a formal written request to the university administration along with necessary proof by 16th September 2020.
