Mangalore University has opted to digitise their evaluation process for the exams being held. The varsity has instructed the lecturers to evaluate the scanned copy of the answer scripts.
The Mangalore University has confirmed that the answer sheets of all the subjects will be evaluated at the decentralized internet centres of educational institutes.
The University has successfully conducted the testing for the process by evaluating the answer scripts of the MBA batches.
The Final Semester Examinations of Mangalore University are expected to be conducted from September 16 to which the varsity has arranged 16 centres across the districts to continue with the digitise evaluation procedure which will begin from the first week of october.

P.L Dharma, Mangalore University Registrar has said that the varsity has appointed nodal officers respectively for three districts and has been provided with the responsibility to inspect the MU affiliated colleges and the evaluation process at the decentralized centres.
He also said that the Colleges that offer BCA and MCA have been selected as the evaluation centres to get the required benefits and advanced settings for the procedure.
Mr. Dharma has also said that the responsibilities for the evaluation process will be mostly handed to the young professors with good knowledge of computers.

The Mangalore University Board Members have agreed to the changing process of evaluation system and the VC, P.S. Yadapadithaya has accepted that the process will benefit the students.
