Medical PG Admission: INI CET 2021 to Replace JIPMER PG, PGIMER, AIIMS PG, NIMHANS PG Entrance Exams


September 30, 2020: The Institute of National Importance (INI) introduced Combined Entrance Test (CET) as its new entrance examination for admission in post-graduation programs in medical sciences. Check details, links and official notice below. 

The official notice has been released by the All Indian Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) Delhi for the INI CET 2021 admission process. 

Common Entrance Test (CET) is now applicable for students who are seeking admission in the Post Graduation courses of the university such as MDS, MD, MS, DM, and MCh. The existing entrance examination of the university as of AIIMS PG, JIPMER PG, PGIMER, and NIMHANS has been replaced by CET.

INI CET 2021: Important Dates

INI CET 2020-2021 January session is scheduled to be held from November 2020 all across the country. The CET is now added in the admission process for AIIMS (New Delhi and 7 other cities), PGIMER, JIPMER, and NIMHANS

Eligible students need to register for the entrance exam of the institute. Important Dates of the INT CET 2020-2021 session is as follow:

INI CET 2021: Admission Process for session 2020-2021

The INI CET application process has been started, students can now register till October 12, 2020. The Institute will publish the INI CET prospectus for the session 2020-2021 on October 6, 2020. 

Students can apply for the Common Entrance Test (CET) 2020 by following the steps below:

Step 1: Visit the INI CET Registration link Website from the table below.

Step 2: Register by entering the required details in the form such as name, date of birth, nationality, etc.

Step 3: Upload the documents mentioned in the form and make the payment through online mode (credit/debit cards or net banking).

Step 4: Select your desired INI CET examination centre and click on the submit option from the screen.

Students who’re interested can register via visiting the official website of the university from the table below.

Students are advised to take a print out of their application form of INI CET 2020 for future references. 

The registration process will be carried out in two different steps. In the first step, students have to complete their basic registration for INI CET 2020, and in the second they have to fill out the examination centers and other details for completing the registration process.

NOTE: Students who have already applied or completed their registration process for January/July 2019 or January/July 2020 session do not have to register themselves again for the examination.
